Nice shooting on this one! You were really blessed with great weather and great sites on Wicksteed. Bass fishing was not too shabby either. Love those crisp mornings with mist. Bacon sounded perfectly cooked too! Always a treat to see otters as well. Hopefully you can get in another trip or two before freeze up! Thanks for taking us along Curtis. 👍
Thanks Jeff! Like our Mattawa trip - Great way to end the paddle season - can’t wait to go back- I want to go back for min. 4 nights to reach the north end.
What a great little trip, i am going to get out to temagami again next season. Great job on all the camera angles and looks like you sorted out your canoe tripod situation 👍👍
Appreciate that - yeah way more stable now still need to add some clips for paddles and rods (winter job) propelling for my 15 trip I’ll keep you posted maybe coordinate to meet up and fish for a few days :). I am still deciding where to Go. All that said Wicksteed is 40 mins away can’t wait to explore more and beyond north of the island I stayed At it :) Hope all is well 💪🏽🛶🏕️

You bet, no camping at the dam. its a big boat launch, with many backcountry camp sites down the lake - as close as 1.5km.
