Wow dude 3 minutes in and we're looking at old trucks with huge wheels and rubber bands, tucked and laying frame. SEMA must be absolute heaven for car guys and girls. I hope I can go some day.
I love the C10 and old trucks. The C10 you saw had a Ford 9" rear end, the poor man's quick change and a long time staple of drag racing. When you get that 6.0l boosted to hilariousness, you should rip out the drivetrain and put it in a smoothed over engine bay of a classic you dragged out of the desert somewhere. Hell, go make the donor haul the project home! That would be a deserving home for the finished engine, and let's be honest, the green truck's days will be numbered when you get the Fummins dialed in!
The only sema youtube video I want to watch haha ... I like that your style is so diverse from lowered trucks ...lifted trucks ...to fuel pump info to full blown race cars ... rat rods... resto mods ...bikes ..keeps it interesting nice work

When you guys were looking at the Cafe Racer did you see how they had everything kind of blocked off the basis of everything they had it blocked off with was the round with a metal top air filters
Not a fan of the Sema stuff usually, but your Coverage was definitely the best, love your commentary on how much you dig the cars and the craftsmanship
That's basically a first gen 5.4 Hemi in the last rat rod, it was made from 51 - 58 and they called it the Firepower, my 53 New Yorker has one.

24:03 - my only complaint of both the SEMA and PRI shows is they don't have a dedicated section for Diesel exhibitors (for those that want to display there). so much to see, even with planning it's easy to overlook a build or a product unless you're looking for something specific, but a major point of going to these shows is DISCOVERY, ie to see/find stuff you DON'T know about.

Hey Jim, its actually not a kit car. Its a glass body 32 that we built.

Thanks for the sema walk through. While you were at the ls displays you talked about dropping an LS in a miata.. I have been looking for videos on gm's new L3B and no one has tried putting it in a small car yet. Anyway maybe LS is more cost effective.
I'm hoping a builder will take the L3B and destroke it to like 2.54 inches making it around 1.6L and potentially 12000 rpm as a stable red line. Crank cams valves and springs for an i4 mated with a dry sump, improved cooling... Anyway that's this month's dream but no one is doing it.

The LS is a great engine, but it's not the only engine.

It’s called a RESTO-MOD when an older muscle car is retro fitted with newer technologies and parts. It’s a very cool combo.

Lol. ALL HEMI’s have dual plug per cylinder setup. Makes the tune up cost quite a bit more. I have to do mine in my RAM1500 soon.
cKSoFLy not completely true, the newer Hemi’s have two plugs per cylinder, and the older hemi’s have one plug per cylinder.

Please don't supercharge the miata Taylor. If anything it would be kinda sick to see a supercharger on the silverado. It seems like everyone is slapping turbos on LS's is would be cool to see something different.
