That’s my black Camaro SS at the #3 spot! So much louder in person and sounds amazing.
By far the best car done i seen on the channel so far ... i have my cammed twin turbo silverado out the front bumper but for the states with smog or Emissions this is the best out there

Most of these weren't done justice. The clips cut at random times, sound quality sounded like his finger was over the mic in half of these, and most of them only got idle and light revs.

The best sounding American V8s of all time in my opinion are the classic GM 350 small block and GM 454 big block...with headers, no cats, true duals (no H-pipe or X-pipe), no resonators, and classic glasspack mufflers. Old school.
I'm a sucker for FEs. My grandfathers '68 360 with glass packs is choppy as hell

Modern Red Hemi's RT Shaker Challenger sounds amazing especially with Longtube headers and the Borla ATAK Catback exhaust.

As a person who has never been a mustang fan, that Saleen looks and sounds awesome. Also that Chrysler 300 sounded way better than I expected it was going too. But in the end I love almost every American v8.
I have a 02 Mercury with Flowmaster FXs and it sounds great. I had the back 2 cats cut off
I perfer V8s from 1980s and before, though the 4.6L Modular still sounds good.

I have a 2014 mustang gt with Kooks 1 7/8 long tubes with a off road x pipe, no resonators, and Roush axle backs and let me tell you that shit screams
I have a 1979 z28 Camaro with a 496, 3 in side pipes no muffler. let me tell you that it is the loudest thing you'll ever hear.

I guess since we’re doing this. I have a 1974 Ford F-250 with a big block 445 stroker with long tube headers into flow master super10’s which then dumps right in front of the axle and let me tell you that shit melts your ears

The 5.3 is the best sounding exhaust IMO... I have a 1999 GMC with no cats and it straight piped and I have a 2020 Chevy that’s stock... for now
5.4 Triton is underrated
Sound like a 5.9 magnum at low rpms with them flowmasters
What about the terminator cobra motor dual over head cam 4 valves supercharged forged internals and a Iron block
I had a 5.9 magnum carb. With true dual dynomax mufflers and h pipe. Best sound truck I ever owned. I like that deep non growly sound but I like it loud.

Don’t know why the 5.4L Triton isn’t on here. Sure it may not be the most reliable (even though they are pretty damn reliable with some bullet proofing of the timing system) but it sure as hell one of the best sounding American V8s.

Not sure why but the 5.7 hemi sounds a touch better than the 6.4. It’s also the fact that 6.4 oem parts on the 5.7 really close the hp difference almost in full. 6.4 intake, throttle body, headers, etc brings the 5.7 within 25 hp of the oem 6.4. Guess the 6.4 comparable to the 5.7 wouldn’t be a wise business move.

I had a flowmaster 40 on mine it sounded really good and deep
I had cherry bomb m-80 with 3" right off the y pipe back to a side exit and it sounded great for a v6

I've got a Flowmaster Super 44 with a cat delete on mine and it sounds phenomenal.
