We REALLY need a revamp of the Cacaucus free map. it's where everyone plays, and it is in desperate need of a texture/visual overhaul.
After I tried the Channel I don't want to see that fugly old Caucasus map with oversized tress ever again.
The free Barthek's mod for Caucasus is what you need. New textures make this map incredibly real. I just have installed it today. Great job from Barthek

I love the Mirage and giving gen4 planes headaches with it. Highly recommend. (It’s obviously not as capable as a F-16 or 15 but if we’ll flown you can cause real problems for them)
We need all terrains to have free trials* as well
The trails are all free after you buy the terrains. If you have Combined Arms, you can even drive land vehicles on them 😂

En mi opinión es el mejor avión de todo DCS. Estos chicos hacen un grandisimo trabajo. Valoro mucho la sensación de inmerso dentro de la cabina, así como la recreación de todos los sistemas de vuelo manejo, etc. Ea un grandisimo módulo sobre todo en VR
The trial idea is very good, and can be applied to all packages. It's difficult to buy something without testing it.

you can do a one week free test period on a module once a year on DCS standalone, type "DCS free trial" in youtube
The rest do have trials. It's just new planes that don't get it until they've been out for a while.
@@chikokishi7030 Same, almost... didn't get the Hawk and it took me a long time to pull the trigger on the Gazelle and the C101.
Having a trial option is great anyway :)
Nice! The lack of a trial has been the biggest hurdle to me getting the Mirage, so I'm happy to see this!

@@Solo6R I still haven't trialed it yet tbh. I will, but I'm currently playing other games right now. I play DCS in 1-2 month spurts and then usually take a 2-3 month break

I'm debating the Mig 21 or F1 atm. Already have the F5, f86, f-18,-f-16, f-15c and ex, black shark, apache, p51, spitfire, FC3... it's like pokemon, gotta catch them all 😀. Have the F4 phantom of course but it doesn't count until it's released.

i just recent re-installed the game and i have the f18 module from about a year ago when i played the game and when i get into the game it shows my other modules to install but doesnt show ther f18, so then i went to google to make sure i was on the right account and sure enaught it showed it owned the jet but it just wont let me install it in the game for some reason and i cant figure out why, ive tried deleting and re-installing the game twice and it still wont work, so if anyone knows what the issue it or how i can install it then please help cause ive been tryna figure it out for about 6 hours and am dying

Afraid not. Just do a separate install from the main site and use that one for the free trials. Really easy. And free!
What are the differences between these models?
They are:
Mirage F1-CE - basic single seat version
Mirage F1-EE - multi-role with refueling probe
Mirage F1-BE - basic two seater
The one that will come during next year, probably:
Mirage F1-M - modernized with partial glass cockpit

In the past, Eagle Dynamics trailer movies were majestic, dramatic and more satisfying than watching a theatrical film. Lately, I feel it has lost that and become boring.

You can’t. Steam edition sucks. Sales don’t link up, you can free trial, and some money goes to steam and some goes to the devs when purchasing something.

is the F1 worth it?
It’s good if you want the Cold War experience. However if you try going up against modern jets you will die. Plus no air to ground missiles. Only bombs and rockets so you can’t do SEAD operations. It’s the best Cold War fighter though.
Plus it’s on a free trial. Just give it a go and see if you like it.

@@Pvt_Wade Yes that’s true now that I think of it. I meant if you’re flying on a server like Enigmas Cold War then it’s probably the best plane there is apart from the F-14.

It's not pointless, most people play on standalone open beta. None of the free trials are steam compatible. It's better to have standalone tbf, and your modules from steam can be transferred over.

when taking off in my f-14, the plane always veers right and crashes no matter how much i yaw or try to correct it. is there any way to fix this
If you start a mission on the runway, make sure you release the parking brake first.
