Cool. "China Grove" was hit for The Doobie Brothers in 1973 and a popular staple on FM rock radio throughout the seventies. The song is about a fictional town in Texas where the sheriff wields a sword instead of a six-shooter. The lyrics are easier to hear on the studio recording. The Wildlife Concert was the second in a series of concerts held in the nineties to benefit the Wildlife Conservation Society, headquartered at the Bronx Zoo in New York City, "with a mission to save 'wildlife and wild places across the globe'." John Denver performed at the first concert in 1995 held the year before this concert. Both concerts were turned into videos and albums.
