USS Mount Whitney (MTW) serves as the Command Ship for Commander, Sixth Fleet/ Commander, Joint Command Lisbon/Commander, Striking Force NATO and has a complement of 150 enlisted personnel, 12 officers and 150 Civilian Mariners from Military Sealift Command. USS Mount Whitney was the first U.S. Navy combatant to permanently accommodate women on board.

We have quite a lot going on in this small part of the world. Syria, Israel and migrants trying to cross over into Europe from Libya. It keeps them busy.

Hopeless against the Russian KInzhal Hypersonic missile.
The Navy has admitted that publicly. Saying that they do not even have a theoretical defense against the Russian Kinzhal.
And now the Chines and Iranians have hypersonic missiles that the US Navy has no defense against.
All Naval surface vessels have been rendered obsolete and useless.
