I use Resin curring machines offton and they been God. send then after watching your video I went straight on to Amazon & Ebay to look for 1. There was many chouse I chouse to go for a tall Hydrater for my higher moulds. I found what I wanted a Hydrater with 11 shelves I decided to Keep 2 shelves & the hanging rack so I could make treats for mine & family & friends pets. WOW WOW WOW it didn't just help I got 2 things in 1 Home made pet treats but also for my Resin work. I already had 2 other different Resin Machines very happy with them I now have 3 I found the Hydrate. worked well if not better than the Resin machines. I also bought some silikin Hydrater tray sheets which ide advice. my Moulds weren't hot when come out of Hydrater. So Thank You for this video
Thanks Edna, i went out and bought one after watching your vid, 2 hours at 70C,such a difference in production time ! Thanks very much, liked and subbed :)
Wow....thank you for doing this experiment. I have a food dehydrator and don't use it for anything right now ...actually for more then a year and a half it sits ...just sits....on my countertop lol. I think I will give it a go knowing full well that I won't be able to use it for food afterwards. TY Edna!
What type of Dew writer do you have now and is there a description code that you can provide and where you got it? I love this video and I’m want to try.
well, a dehydrator is just a low temp oven so it mimics the heat in the air that resin needs to cure . the hotter the air the faster it cures. this accelerates the curing process so you can unmold faster and reuse your molds. you dont need it for jesmonite since that cures in 30 minutes, and resin takes up to 48 hours.

Fantastic, really happy I helped you out, that's what I'm here for 🩷😘
Once you put resin in a food dehydrator you contaminate it. Don’t then ever put actual food in there
Thanks for the info and doing the testing for me ❤.... I have one I will feel a little better about trying out now ❤
What a great experiment and the results are gorgeous!
Thanks Emily 💕
Excellent results! Good point the other machines, while still great, are not all that tall. Thank you for this! Both projects are beautiful.

@GaryMcKinnonUFO welcome to my channel, Gary. I use mine all the time unless it's hot outside 🙃 thanks for subscribing!
@@EdnaWargon :)
Thanks for the idea! I'm going to look for one...I was struggling with the same issue.
I bought 5mm acrylic sheets to replace the metal trays since my trays weren't level, so all i had to do was level the dehydrator and all is good :)
great advice!

My pleasure, that's what I'm here for 😉 get it off your countertop and use it. it's so cool you had one at home. Let me know how it goes 😊
i'm heading to thrift stores to look for a dehydrator!! thanks for experimenting.
Have fun!

I also wonder if it will work for deep cure resin as well. I will try it...after I get my time/temp accurate for my regular resin!
I have never used deep pour. They don't sell it in France!
yes it dos
Wow, love it.❤😊
Thank you! 😊
Hi! I want to use the deshydrator for dooming other pieces, can I put already cured pieces in the machine? Thank you in advance!
Hi. Yes, I don't see why not, just don't use too high a temperature so the coaster doesn't bend too much.
What temperature makes resin work dry faster
I use up to 60°C, this works well for me.
Hi what's in the bowl and how long did you leave the items in the dehydrator thanks
Water is in the bowl and as stated in the tutorial i waited 1 and a half hours
Hello! I got one this this weekend and all goes wel, except the downside has bubbles… any idea how to fix that?
Hi, try waiting 15 minutes once you've poured to let the bubbles escape, then pop it in the dehydrator
You said you tried it out with a 2:1 ratio the next day...was that a deep pour and was it successful?
No, it was a low viscosity resin but not deep pour.
Interesting but what is the point of dehydrating epoxy? Does it also work with other products like Jesmonite?

Why should it? Jesmonite can be demolded in 30 Minutes.
Maybe I missed this but what deyhdrator is this? Thanks
🙂 I think you must have, I did explain in the tutorial 😊
