A chemical termite barrier is a line around a building which acts as an impenetrable zone for termites. It exists to keep your home protected against these pests. A termite barrier in chemical form is a perfect preventative tactic if you have a house that is already standing.

Heavy infestations of Subterranean Termites! Very mature and established colonies. At that extent of infestation, they can do a lot of structural damage fast!
Needs major structural repairs to the floor joists, girders, mud sill, and subfloor along with a full soil treatment for Subterranean Termites at a minimum.
Some areas of infestation and damage could even extend up into wall framing and other inaccessible areas.
All of the termite damage shown can be replaced at a substantial cost.
Just need to factor in that cost, and also costs for the potential hidden damage found during repairs, when negotiating a purchase price!
    Good video! 😃

House is basically trash, just take it down and start over. Not worth bothering with this.

Is there "MULCH", outside around foundation, ? A lot of times people, or neighbors, will get "FREE" mulch, "UNTREATED", from, saw mills, or local Municipal, brush, recycling.

We only have subterrain termites and they will mainly stay deep enough in the soil to prevent them from getting too cold.
