    Hi Roy
    I have the same lathe, had it about 2 weeks, all I've turned so far is a mallet and a fishing priest. Getting wood is a little difficult as I've never turned wood before. Great video.

      Hi Keith, I wouldn't say it was a great video, but thanks for watching 😀 Try turning a goblet ,i found that easier. Regards Roy.

    Nice compact lathe, I like your stainless chuck too. Variable speed looks great. What hp is the motor. I like to half turn my bowl blanks then store them in a dry unheated shed for a couple of years. Not had a lot of success with microwaving larger bowls though.

      Hi there, not sure of the hp of the motor. It is a great lathe, but you seem a lot more professional than me. Thanks for watching.

    Was at the Axminster store today, thinking of buying this same lathe but was surprised when I was told that this lathe was rated at 2HRS USE PER WEEK! Any truth in this and have any users had any issues when using for longer periods?

      @royleonard1963  Рік тому

      I shouldn't think so. I've never had any issues with my lathe.
