I stayed in Montanita for a couple of months a little over a year ago. was just a short walk back to my stay, it was a one minute walk. I had a nice time on the beach. The one thing that was quite bothersome, was the dog poop on the beach. I was closer to where the big rock is. I did spend time in other areas of that beach like two nights at Silina hotel/hostel.
So relaxing it will be nice to get some rest there. Beautiful place ❤
It really is! Grateful for the experience. My only issue were the mosquitoes

what are your thoughts on Montanita???
I enjoyed visiting Montañita, but I wouldn't live there. It's a vibrant party town. I would describe it as the ultimate spring break kind of destination for those who want to party heavy, but if you're more chill.. it might not be the best place to live. Hope this helps
HOW DANGEROUS IS OUT THERE NOW, AFTER THE NEWS ABOUT KILLING PEOPLE INSIDE RESTAURANTS. HOW MUCH IS THAT CABANA COST NOW? I WAS THERE 2 YEARS AGO ONLY 10 DOLLARS A NIGHT ::)
I think the other parts of the coast like Esmeraldas are much more dangerous. We felt relatively safe here in Montañita! The Cabaña cost $211.12 for 3 nights.
