@@JAScfop Thank You! These are mostly random arena/quickplay games. Some of these players I might know through social media. But that's the exception, most are random.
Your Mewtwo is absolutely stylish! How do you predict which side your opponent is going to end up on after a neutral air? I’m very inconsistent with this.
I might be able to help with this a little, 'cause I asked Baum years ago lol So it has something to do with a few things: 1. Where the opponent is when Mewtwo's nair first hits; Mewtwo's nair has a property where most multi-hits pulls the opponent INTO him, with the last hit applying knockback outwards 2. Mewtwo's air drift; you'll notice Baum brings Mewtwo to a halt in the air when nair is initiated, and then he moves forward again to follow up after the nair. I sometimes land similar combos offstage, and I ALWAYS drift to a halt before drifting forward again. 3. The opponent's SDI; this also has an influence, of course, as an opponent can try to get out of a bad position. This combo doesn't happen often because of these factors, with potential others I haven't covered, but what with Mewtwo being a comparatively obscure character, coupled with practice in Training Mode, you'll become more consistent. Of course, I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as Baum or the other Mewtwo wizards out there, but hopefully this starts building a better understanding.
@ChukapiMagnetar You’re a real one for explaining all of that! So from what I understood, you influence the position of your opponent during nair by halting or changing your midair momentum. This makes a lot of sense. I guess it helps that Baum for example rarely allows for the last hitbox, unless he continues an airborne combo.
