Jim ,thanks for the number of ski's and support vehicles. I did hear the pest control guys say 19 ski's ,a lot bigger than I expected there must of been a support crew .Also great to see the awards to the drivers.
You know whats nice everybody had videos so we got to see different points of the river run. But Jimmy showing the eagles nest with the eagle was tops to me. & with out you & Merlin fixing the old clunky jet skis this wouldn't of ben as fun as it was. Thanks jimmy
The Mo River Run has been fun to watch. I am sure it is old news to everyone else, but I saw an ad for what looked like a SxS frame/body on a pair of high performance jet skis, and I immediately thought Jet Ski Jim and Merlin could do that. When will we get to see it? ;)
Looks like a ride of a lifetime. It was great meeting you at the boat ramp in St. Louis My group took home Merlin’s ski Had to cancel a dentist appointment to get my name in that hat and meet you guys and man am I glad I did
have to give you a big shout out Jim for all the help in getting the jet skies going and keeping them , well most of them still on the water ... lol . Was good seeing you in St. louis at the meet and great .... job well done sir
Hey Jimmy, it looks like you really helped keep things together behind the scenes. Very cool to see the fixes to keep the run humming along. Even jumping in with jeans on to fix stuff. 👍👍
hey Jimmy glad you have a UA-cam channel. You and Merlin make a great team. Would love to visit where you guys live, it looks beautiful. but I can not withstand 100+F heat at all lol. That's why im in the north East PA where its much cooler and way more water and greenery. Cant wait to see what adventures you post. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a good day.
I've seen a few video's from this Missouri river run. I believe it was a good time had by all! I hope it can be an annual event! That keeps getting bigger every year! Just imagine 100 Jet Ski's going down the Missouri river, it could be the largest Jet Ski event in history and put the event in the Guinness book of world records! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the water...
Though it may look "Kool", running your ski up the ramp is costly to repair especially if you have to pay someone to fix it. Those white streaks are the gel-coat and fiberglass being sheared off the keel strips and chines. I know they were junk ski's but they proved they were in relatively decent condition by running almost 400 miles like they did so its kind of a cringe to see them hitting the ramp like that. Bottom line is don't do this with your Dad's ski or really any ski that is not in such bad shape that its going straight into a dumpster after your done. Seen too many worn through from making this a habit. Jimmy may have made or spent some good money over the years repairing that kind of damage. Might do a good job of cleaning off the mussels though. ;> Best!
ROFL. For sure! Rule #1 Know your limits... There is no way I would have lasted 350 miles on a stand up. In hind sight I guess I would have made it to lunch on the first day. (80 miles?) but I would have tapped out. I wanted to finish. 🙂
@@jetskijim007 I hear ya..I got that old man’s body with the young guy mind..when I first got the ski I thought it would be the coolest thing to do the same thing but on the Colorado river..but I am sure I would have tapped out as well..or just made it a 5 day trip with a day off in the middle.. or find a smart way to do something stupid ..

LOL, so full disclosure. I wore jeans and tennis shoes the entire ride. I was super comfortable. I never needed to get in the water past the knees. 🙂
What exactly was the challenge for the run? Just old school carbureted skis?
not dying? LOL
