I love a bean and noodle soup if I'm feeling unwell. That miso soup looks lovely, I've been making seitan roasts ready for Christmas so something light would be lovely at the moment because ive been taste testing seitan for days now 😅
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling great George, I’m sure all these healthy recipes will help you get well soon. Well done for even making the video! I love miso soup so I’ll definitely try your recipe as well as the sausage and fennel pasta. 💜
Dear George, get well soon! Good luck with your sourdough bread. I've been making my own one for years as it's very difficult to find bread in stores without additives. It take some practice but you are a brilliant chef so will nail it!
Thank you Alina, feeling much better now! Very true, supermarket bread is a no go for me. I’m excited for the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through the house 😋
I hope you feel better soon! I love the look of your soup 😍 And those shots cannot fail to do you good! I think I might serve the mixture in a mug topped up with some boiling water, just for the extra comfort factor 😊
Thank you Mara! It felt well nourished after eating it ☺️ and I’m feeling much better so perhaps the shots did do some good. That’s a good idea, I’ll do that with the rest
Hope you are feeling better and tis the season for first cold especially s the weather is all over the place up and down. I swear by fire cider tonic daily to fend off the bugs. Check it out as so easy to make. I actually put a litre jar on to infuse and do it's it's thing to infuse for 4-6 weeks
Oh yeah the weather is crazy at the moment and everyone seems to be getting sick. That sounds interesting, good that you can make a big batch. I'll give it a go!
Lovely recipes. In the future, you might want to avoid soy products while congested. According to Chinese medicine soy is clasified as a cold damp food. Soy, like dairy, can actually create or exacerbate congestion. My "sick soup" is a very light cabbage soup: onion, carrots, celery, fresh ginger, cayenne or aleppo pepper, lemon thyme and shredded cabbage. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Ahh that's interesting, I'll keep that in mind for the future. That sounds like and a nice and refreshing soup. I generally only feel like quite light food when i first get sick anyway. Thank you 😊
currently with a sinus infection so i can barely smell. so depressing... the only upside is i can eat raw ginger and garlic for health benefits w/o blinking an eye. thank you for your channel, been cooking more meatless and these creative ideas keep it interesting (and fairly easy which i also need!)
Ahh sorry to hear that! That is really tough but well done for finding a positive side. So glad my cooking ideas are helping you and hopefully you can keep up the good work 🙌
What’s your favourite meal or snack when you’re feeling unwell? 😊

Immune shots (story bought) and comfort food (home made) such as semolina pudding.
Ginger vegetable tofu miso lemony soup Is my favorite meal.
@@trishramsden5551 Oh yeah, it can get quite heavy eating lots of seitan! Enjoy a nice light soup 😊
@@katsweeterly2039 Sounds good. Semolina is very comforting :)
I sip on ginger tea with lemon and ACV all day when fighting a cold/illness. Thanks for sharing your recipes. Feel better soon! 😊🎉❤
Ooh yes lemon and ginger is always a good idea. Thank you ☺️
Hope you are feeling better soon George:)
Thank you, I am :)
So impressed that you shoot a video when you are sick! And cook delicious food on top of that!
Aha thank you for appreciating that! I was starting to feel better but it was still quite tiring 😁

I really enjoyed this video 🙏 all the recipes are a must try now 😊 I normally tend to sip on ginger tea or have ginger and turmeric shot when ill.
Thank you Sabrina, hope you enjoy them 😊 Can’t beat ginger tea when you’re sick.
Get well soon
Thank you, all good now :)
Love your recipes. Always so packed with flavours!

Glad you think so :)
Everything looks delicious! Hope you’re feeling better.
Thank you! Nearly feeling back to normal now :)
I could have done with these recipes about a week or so ago. I will keep them in mind next time I come down sick.
Ahh A bit too late! Hope you're feeling 100 percent now :)
I hope you get well soon, George. I'm so impressed by your cooking, especially when you're sick. The meals look delicious.
Thank you Lorna. It took a lot of my energy haha
Get well looks great
I find seaweed as a good immunity booster on a plant based diet as its high in iodine 😊
Oh yeah that's a good point, thanks for the tip 😊
everything looked so goood AAA
Thanks so much! 😁
Thank you

A tip: according to Dr Greger, to maximize the absorption of the nutrients of berries, you shouldn't mix it with bananas.
That's interesting. I'll have to read in to it. Thanks for letting me know :)
I would add echinacea as a supplement. Very good for balancing out mucous membranes for colds or allergic rhinitis. Probably good for the gut too.
Oh yes, my Mum was recommending I take that! I'll try it next time I get sick.

New place?
I usually film in a separate area using the induction hob but this is the actual kitchen :) The kitchen is hard to film in because of how it's setup.
@EarthyGoodnessKitchen hehe, right. It's seemed as you have been cooking in some stone cottage until now:)
Well the house is a cottage so you’re right to some degree but I’ve been cooking in the garage 😂
Have you gotten a new place? I kinda liked the old one.
Same place, just filming in a different room. I will be back in the usual filming spot next video 😌
probably some chicken soup. Anyway, get well soon :)
Thank you 😊
Chickens dont want to die for your soup @@EarthyGoodnessKitchen
@@KerriEverlasting Yes, keep away from the chickens or you’ll end up with bird flu on top.
