I saw this and said "oh hell yes."
Hey man how you doing
Squirrel Gun 👍🐿👍
The best 5.11 Tact commercial ever love it keep it up Scott
The best part of that costume is that Scott is quite literally built exactly like Doomguy. It's hilarious, SWOLE.
If some fan project were to announce a _DOOM (2016)_ movie today, I'd vote for him to act as Doomslayer.
Or as Doomguy for a DOOM 1993 movie.
@Dewido8-vd7nkdoom slayer is also a god
@@Eastofthecommunistwalldo you mean that as a title or do you mean that literally
@@drakemorgan6933he means it literally
@@OperatorFritz thanks for clearing that up, I have never payed doom so my knowledge on doomguy is limited
Both barrels going off like that at the beginning is rather fitting considering how both barrels fire by default in the actual game
yea
i think that like
in doom 2016, if you do a challenge with a certaint weapon, you get like a modifier. and super shotgun's mod is being able to shoot it single or double barrel
@@brainrot293 Damage doesn't go down despite getting to shoot twice, so I think you magically fire off both barrels twice.
It's default in real life too, the double triggers are for finger size diffrences..........yeah that's it.
by default?? can you change that?
The fact that Scott broke the zombie's jaw with just his fist makes me think he's the closest thing to an IRL Doom Slayer

@@TheSecondKidNamedFinger chuck norris checks under his bed to make sure im not there
It's only fitting that Scott's first experience with 8 gauge is how the super shotgun fires in game
And in the commercial.
Scott being a DOOM fan just like us while still being a guntuber straight up made him the best youtuber of all time, no one else can compare.
I love this fact as well, but pretty sure quite a few other guntubers said they were into games like brandon, GT (aka flannel daddy), admin...
There's a song about that.
why didn't he play BFG division aside from copyright clames
Facts
Just made my favorite video ever so, yeah.
Fun fact: In classic Doom 2, the Super Shotgun mechanically behaves more like a TRIPLE barreled shotgun - while the base shotgun fires seven pellets, the Super Shotgun fires TWENTY, almost three times as many, which means in Doom 2, it will be your workhorse weapon against pretty much anything through the mid-tier of demons, one-hitting pinkies, exorcising Lost Souls with a single blast, and even dropping Cacodemons with two point-blank shots. It's an absolute beast, and it's no surprise that it's been a fan favorite since its debut.
I could hear Civvie11 talking while reading that! Good stuff
@@batsardcat3285 "If Batman was a gun, he'd be this." - Civvie 11
It's called super shotgun, because it's super.
**Kneels**
The ultimate demon slaying weapon, the pinnacle of shotguns. Upon the micro-instance of a heretic whispering "Why don't they just call it the double barrel?"
Because it's better, Because it's Super.
If Batman was a gun, he would be this. No more extended fights with pinkies, no more lost souls taking more than a split-second to exorcise. Whole groups of low-tier enemies fall at the hands of this absolute beast of a weapon.
LISTEN TO IT.
That is the crack of two encroaching trains colliding with each other, it is the roar of a king's castle erupting from a singular explosion, it is the final vestiges of a planet being eradicated.
Super stands for supernatural, because when you run out of ammo on the base shotgun, the shells in the Super Shotgun magically disappear
What I love in Doom eternal is that the super shotgun is stronger than the rocket launcher
The Rocket launchers damage value is 900 per rocket, the Super Shotgun is 1,600 a shot (Assuming your close range which is pretty much every time you use it)
Imagine a shotgun that’s so powerful it can outperform heavy artillery.
The Super Shotgun is something like 2 or 3ga. The bore is more than an inch in diameter.
A slug out of that thing would be a significant emotional event for all involved.
Significant emotional event indeed.the sound and the fire that it throws.itcwould be an experience.
As a Doom fan, thank you for making this video
wish he could've played Mick Gordon for the intro but i get it.
It's amazing just how well Scott fits the DoomGuy armor. Like he was made for it.
He's basically Doomguy without the rage or angst.
hmm Coincidence? I dont think so...

The fact that Scott can actually pull off the build of doomguy is seriously impressive
I can only imagine Scott's enjoyment and excitement if there were a real life Astartes Boltgun, chambered in .998 Bolts.
30mm Gyrojet HEKP rounds 🥵
Give me a few months, btw if anybody asks this is a non-firing replica.
Yes please.
Considering the rounds used in a Boltgun from Warhammer 40k are about the size of two beer cans laid end to end, that WOULD be epic!😁😁
.75 caliber if normal bolter, .998 for heavy bolter. NGL both fit scott very well.
Is no one gonna comment on how Scott split a mandible in half with nothing but his fist? What an absolute unit.
My thought aswell. Dude has a arm forsure but it makes since with all the large caliber recoil he endures haha
Unit !!😝😆🤧!!
The closest thing to an actual doom slayer there is
What do you expect from a man that's able to bench 400 freaken pounds? lol. He was wearing riding gloves as well, so they could've had some carbon fiber knuckle plates built it. even so, still impressive af.
I was just about to say, armed or in this case unarmed this man could still absolutely destroy someone daring enough to try him like the zombie
Never thought Scott would be a video game type. ESPECIALLY Doom.
Scott is definitely the Doomslayers grandson, this is now Kentucky ballistics lore. Love the video, knocking it out the park as always man.
Great-great-grandfather, perhaps, with the remakes being set in the late 2140s - 2151...
So we have Garand Thumb and Admin coming from Travis Haley’s lab, Scott fathering the line of doomslayers, next we need lore for Brandon and Matt
i love the concept of the doom slayer settling down with a wife and kids and just chilling
doomguy was a corn fed massive redneck so yes makes sense.
@@Gyrfalcon312then again, the remakes turn doomguy into an ancient deity
You could totally be the live action body for the Doom Slayer if there was ever a movie with him in it. You have the perfect build for it.
THICCC
I was about to make this comment. Great minds think alike.
He fuckin does.
They should've casted him in 2005 instead of the Rock
And he has the shotgun now too!
It needs to be said, if any fan film directors wanted to make a Live-Action Doom 2016/Eternal Fan Film, Scott would definitely be an amazing choice to cast as the Slayer.
it would be funny if it had his style of comedy in some parts of the movie
He’s even got the battle scars to show he means business!
He does look like the doom slayer
Doesn’t the shotgun in Halo also use 8 gauge
@@sevenchair5594 yes.
i love the idea of Doom Slayer just being confused with Scott's random shooting props
It's truly impressive how close the 8-gauge came to the damage output in-game. That is the kind of firepower that could stop a demon in their tracks. And that swan shot, sheesh.
Scott is such a humble guy that he talks down him splitting the dummy's jaw in half.
IKR? And it was pure genius to throw in a Subscribe suggestion first! Made me laugh. Was already Subbed too.

I was just about to ask about the BFG, thank you
He's building what now
I'm sorry what was that last bit?
I consider his AK50 being the BFG. 😅
Based!
Very impressive performance, I've never heard of ought-or quintuple-ought buckshot before. Where my brother works, the company has an 8 gauge single shot using slugs shaped like discs to break off slag! He described the recoil as ungodly and intense and that's why it's only a single shot.
How can you not like the slo mo face shot? The best, period.
I learned two new things: there's bigger pellet sizes than 000 Buck, going up to 00000 (.44-inch), and Swan Shot is a thing. Basically lead flechettes... the impact they had on the dummy! 😮
Scott has the weapons, the body and the attitude to make a perfect real-life version of a Doom Slayer.

As a Doom fan for 25 years, this was one of my favorite episodes yet! Although if you want to truly test out the power of the super shotgun the way it is used in Doom, every shot should be both barrels firing simultaneously. The doom guy never fires one at a time.

The fact that you're already built like Doom Slayer himself really makes the video.
Only problem is the Super Shotgun is a sawed-off, which would definitely trigger the hellspawn over at the ATF. 😄

Doom 2016 shotgun is normal lenght.

Glad to see someone recognizes how the original double barrel in Doom was full scale and not a sawed off
This man has the armour, the double barrel and can break a zombies jaw with just his hands makes me think this guy might actually be the slayer
In the first age, in the first battle
When the shotgun was first loaded
One shot
Burned by the embers of a dragons breath round
His neck blistered by the shards of a 50 cal
He chose the path of comedic content
and in his ravenous hatred (for tables) he found no peace,
and with boiling blood, he scoured the range, seeking vengeance against the T-REX who had wronged him
He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels,
and those that tasted the bite of his shotgun named him... Scott, from Kentucky ballistics
Why is that so oddly anticlimactic?
Bravo sir. Bravo. 😎
This deserves to be made a pinned comment.
The episode we've all been waiting for. Also, the fact Scott broke the dummy's jaw so easily just proves he's almost as strong as the Doomslayer.

It is great to see 5.11 tactical sponsoring this channel. I have been wearing 5.11 pants for over 20 years now exclusively for the last 12. My favorites are their apex pants and apex shorts in black. Who would have thought that a climbing brand would eventually dominate the tactical world.
This guy is just literally the lore accurate Doom Slayer. If the Doom Slayer had a YT channel, it’d just be exactly this
So fun fact, a guy made a 1:1 scale prop of the Super Shotgun from Doom Eternal and discovered that 1 1/4” PVC pipe was nearly perfectly sized for the barrels. Which would mean the SS is actually somewhere between a 2 and 3 gauge. So you would need a sawed-off 2-bore shotgun. Oh and the Slayer fires both barrels at once. And reloads both in half a second. Have fun!

This has gotta take the cake for one of the best intros btw how is no one talking about how Scott managed to rip apart the range with only his hands?
The crossover we didn't deserve but needed.
As someone who remembers us needing to buy more RAM for our family PC to play the full version of DOOM instead of just the Shareware version... A worthy contender for the mythical Super Shotgun. Also learned there's more types of buckshot than 00.
And the amount of just sheer nerding out happening all episode was amazing to watch.
I remember as a kid trying to download extra ram to the family computer so it would run games better lmfao
Scott is one of few people who would be able to make a good doom slayer, his body would look so natural in doom slayer's armor and i can just imagine that he grinned like the doomguy in first two dooms when he got this shotty
Why has it taken 3 weeks for me to finally watch this?
Also, the Doom Eternal limited preorder helmet is a nice touch. Congrats.
Never thought I'd see a man fighting a dinosaur for a boombox so he could stop the Slayer on a rampage.
That swan shot was destructive. I was expecting the slugs to blow a solid chunk off of the zombie to be honest.
I'd never heard of swan shot before but after seeing what it did to that zombie's head I doubt that I will ever forget it.
Swanshot just sounds badass and evil as hell:
For reference, in Doom 2 (the SSG's first appearance) hitting all 20 pellets does the dame damage as the rocket launchers direct impact and splash damage.
So on targets like the Cyber demon and the Spidermastermind, who are immune to splash damage, are more vulnerable to the SSG
True, but who wants to get that close to a cyberdemon or spider mastermind…

Loved seeing Doomguy's shotgun get covered, but you're forgetting one important thing. In game it's usually used at point blank range or a short distance away for more intense damage.
I think he didn't do it because the zombie wasn't going to last long that way.
I didn't think shooting stuff could be anymore fun until I came across Kentucky ballistics and Scott made it even more entertaining! Never stop making videos! Makes my day every time. The amount of recoil he can handle is astounding. What a great American
Scott’s the only being in the universe to be able to still have his face intact after an accidental backhanding from the Doom Slayer. What a legend
He’s lucky to still even be alive to tell the tale

Buddy, it warms my heart you’re a fan of doom. Dear god I’m loving the 8 gauge. The fact it’s double barrel and double trigger is icing on the cake. Also, I’m loving swan shot.
A friend of mine here in the UK has an O/U 8 gauge shotgun with 32" barrels! It's hammerless but still double discharges all the time, he once shot a pigeon, in flight, at around 30 yrds, double discharged with 2 x #6 shot shells, just feathers came down, it was like the poor bird had gone through a jet engine!
Awesome video Scott thanks 😅

My favorite part of this video is how you showed everyone that you can definitely destroy someone's jaw in 2 hits or less.
I'm glad to see that you recovered to be stronger than you were before the accident.
I love shotguns and this video is great, thanks.
Watching this makes me realize how unbelievably strong the Doom Slayer truly is. His super shotgun has the entire stock SAWED OFF. Bro deals with that recoil in his hands alone.
Hey Scott if I'm not mistaken the rear trigger fires the left barrel or both barrels, while the front trigger fires the right barrel. I could be mistaken but the old saying goes "if you're not right in front, you're left behind."
That's the most creative Watermelon Time I've seen so far and I love it. And if anyone doubts Doomguy's strength, both barrels kicked hard, while he takes it with minimal recoil and no stock.
He also takes it to his chest instead of his shoulder
Well, he's also shot himself out of a gun and landed on his feet.
