Reolink has a lot of cameras, I asked them on aliexpress about timelapse, they answered the following: Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry. Below are the cameras that support Time Lapse: RLC-510A; RLC-520A; RLC-810A; RLC-811A; RLC-820A; RLC-822A; RLC-1220A; RLC-510WA; RLC-511WA; RLC-823A; RLC-523WA; E1 outdoor; and Reolink Battery-powered cameras with firmware updated (Argus 2; Argus 3; Argus Pro; Argus Eco; Argus PT; Reolink Go PT). Note: 1. If you connect the cameras that support time-lapse to the NVR, the time-lapse function can not be used between the camera and NVR. 2. Other models (which have hardware versions like IPC_381/IPC_513/IPC_515 etc) DON'T support Time Lapse even with the firmware updated. Only cameras with hardware version IPC_523128M support Time Lapse.
Interesting product, thanks for the review. I watched this video at 1080 and the youtube codec seems to hate the top of your hat aggressively. It's not so bad at 4K. Not sure if there's anything you can do about it but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks. This is great information. I would like to use this for a construction Timelapse video but there is no Wi-Fi available in the location of the site. Can I just do it by controlling the camera either manually or perhaps through my phone and downloading the footage afterwards and again manually? Thanks again
I’ve been looking for a trail camera to use for a construction timelapse. But haven’t really found many reviews of them for that purpose. I feel like it would work great though with a timelapse feature because of how they are already water proof and have a long battery life
Ive watched 7 videos on timelapse cameras in the past few hours, looking to buy something affordable and of high quality - and all of them so far say to download the app. But, what if you don't have a smart phone? And before anyone say 'WHAT!' No smart phone in 2023!' Yes, no smart phone. Not everyone can afford or want a smart phone.
Just testing the Argus Eco as you did ... but I have the problem that in Photo Mode it only allows "fluent" Quality and not "clear" (which is pointless). If i select "Video" I am able to use "clear". Any ideas? (FW is up to date)
I am very, very interested in this for construction Timelapse. I’ve been using GoPro Labs and it’s just not reliable. Did you research the cameras to see if maybe the more expensive ones shoot more than a 2MB photo? Also please make an update down the road with any further info after using it for a bit. Thanks.
Haven't done more research but might delve into it more depending on how interested people are in this video. I've just received a Wyze webcam which apparently has similar features, keep you posted!

Furthermore, might be my fault, I have not found any other reference that confirms this feature on this camera. Has anything changed since your last post? Can you please double-check and tell me if time-lapse is still included? Sorry for bothering you...
I made a time-lapse with this camera, used the photo option instead of video. I've near on given up trying to find an option to download the 100+ photos. Clicking play time-lapse just shows the individual photos and that's it.

I'm also curious about this; will it work without Internet? Maybe you can set a one time hotspot on your phone as a WiFi point?

honestly not sure what to do without a smartphone, maybe a cheap lumix TZ camera but make sure to check if it has timelapse feature built in

Is 10 sec minimum delay still there? I need to shoot yard animal activity timelapses and something like 1 or two seconds would be preferential.

I no longer have this camera so can't check, might have been a firmware upgrade, or another model that's getting sold on amazon. Can't help sorry!

You mentioned it doesn't name the photos sequentially. Can you give an example of how they're named?
Date and time I believe, but easy to rename in Lightroom when you sort on capture time

I downloaded the photos to my computer from the micro sd card, then turned them into a video

"Minimum interval 10 seconds" ... this is a FAIL. Not a proper timelapse camera. Wyze V3 support 3 seconds and it's cheaper
