Wow!!!! That place is so neat!!! Glad you found it and thanks for sharing!! I wish I could see it too. You have such a historic last name Leo, right up there with the popular musicians! The horse bit is a snaffle bit. Very interesting place.
Ohh how nice. Hello from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 Another fantastic tourist outing..and great picture in the end ..I'd put that in black/white then sign it and frame it.☕️👍
My grandfather came Pikeville, Zack Lee and also my great grandparents where Gilliams, just wondering if you happened to know any of them! ❤ I’ve only been there once but I was 8 years old, I do remember loving it there, my last kid just graduated this year so me and husband have been looking for a place in Kentucky or West Virginia border, we need to get out of New York!!!
My Dad's Mother's side of his family is from that area and Shelby Gap. She was an Elkins. You'll probably see a lot of graves of my ancestors there in the cemeteries.
Hmm flat iron building. There's one here locally (buena Vista va), shaped like that. I'll have to check with our historical society if it's considered a flat iron building. Interesting. Learned something new😮
