Time Tunnellers: D-Day 80th Anniversary Special

On June 6th 1944, thousands of soldiers landed on the shores of Normandy in France, in the biggest military operation in modern history. Their mission: to liberate Europe from the grip of Nazi occupation. Robin Scott-Elliot takes us through the lead-up to the invasion and onto the beaches of Normandy itself, and asks young people to put themselves in the place of one of those soldiers - what was it like? We can only imagine.
