Vinland saga is also an amazing manga you should get to down the road. Vikings revenge story with incredible character development. Has bits of real history woven in to the story as well
I am rereading The Hobbit which I havent read since middle school years before The Hobbit Trilogy came out. I also have a few Star Trek books in waiting written by Diane Duane, 2 of which serve as a minor story arc involving the Romulans.
I certainly don’t have 11 novels lined up for this month. A couple of chonkers: Crossroads of Twilight, Star Wars: Iron Fist, Before they are Hanger and Abaddon’s Gate (I also have Guards! Guards! as a potential buddy read but we will see with that one)
Simon greens deathstalker series is right up your alley.Piers Anthony prostho plus funny sci fi.the best star trek series in my opion the invasion series and double helix.
One piece is amazing! East blue has some great moments but it is nothing compared to what comes later. Hope that you become a long time one piece reader!
My answer for something in the middle of his style: The Litigators or The Runaway Jury. However, for something dark and deep: A Time to Kill For something light and fun: Playing for Pizza
Also, I can lend you the second and third manga for JJK if you ever read it! Just ask me, and I got it! Happy new year, Mr. Koan! May your books be many, and your joys big.
Have you read A Painted House by John Grisham? I got it from the library and liked it. Also, I learned from this book that a cotton gin is not a drink.
I read one book at a time usually, unless I have a special circumstance. My recommendation is to set basic goals: a daily goal, a weekly goal, and a monthly goal. Then see if you can not only meet those but surpass them. I also recommend scheduling time to read in your available time, so that you feel like it’s a regular part of your day. Eventually it just becomes a habit.

Just started book 1 of Wheel of Time. Bought from thriftbooks on line
I hope you enjoy it. One of my favorite series.
I take it your students found your channel? Aha. Very wholesome. Hope you enjoy the month.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MR. KOAN
I’ve had The Iron King on my TBR for so long. Sounds so good!
Great video as always! Here's hoping that you enjoy Manga.

The only downside is it’s long, but I see where your coming from. I personally hope he reads JJK.
Random question😅Any chance we may be seeing an updated version of Star Wars Young Adult novels ranked anytime soon? Would love to see it.
They don’t release too many YA books, so my list hasn’t changed much recently, but I might do one later this year.
I've recently (2024) started reading legal thrillers, specifically Greg Iles and Scott Turow. Where would you rec'd starting John Grisham?

I haven’t read it yet, but want to get to it eventually.
Do you read multiple books at once? I never know what to do, especially for a slower reader such as myself. What do you recommend?

Manga is good
How do you have time to read so many books whilst working? How many hours do you read a day on average?
I am a teacher/administrator at a school.
I read about 1-2 hours a day on workdays and 3-4 hours a day on weekends/breaks.
Hi Mr koan
Did you read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo? What did you think?
It was good. My full review comes out soon!
Manga. Ugh! Literal cringe.😂
I get Manga isn’t for everyone, but I have other books on the TBR as well, hopefully some of them will be palatable to you.
