I had to laugh when you talked about the Adams family house that can’t be demolished because of its status. It was only built in the 1960’s. Any house in the UK not over 200 years old doesn’t have such protections because the oldest proper house that’s still lived in here is over 1000 years old and we have 1000’s 500 years or more.
