Another great vid! Your signature scene set up before the action begins is highly effective. And again, bravo to seeking out and finding interesting roads and real cool consists.

Great, simple, well-photographed video. My 2 year old grandson really enjoyed it. Thanks for your work.

0:37 That’s a General Signal Type 2 Ebell which I love that. 0:53 That sounds like a BNSF K3LA.
I love watching your vids!
Thank you
Nice video. Always look for new ones from you!
I saw a couple of your video's since I'm a train-nut, and decided to subscribe and follow along to see all stuff.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing-
Cars are average 1 ton per 30 mpg but people require cars to have good acceleration and stop / start capabilities. The reason trains are so good a high load efficiencies has a lot to do with a non-stop run and excessive loads, something that is not possible with motor vehicles. Trains RULE:-)
Cool Train Video
Awesome video ervans !!!!!!
Thanks Jeff, I know that train goes by here on the way to Portland, but I have never had a chance to catch it.

Always a good vid from you. I have two questions:
1. how close are you standing to the moving train?
2. what is all that banging noise?
Great shot of the train emerging.
When I was a kid, I had a Lionel set with log carriers.... 2:33
Good catch! Do the bells always keep ringing once the gates are down. I guess that is different in different places.
Thanks
Great video capture, sure beats the mundane freight I see in here in Iowa, lol
Congratulations...Brazil

The average 450 miles on a single gallon of fuel statement is based on comparative load capacity in tons of similar forms of transit. The train does not actually get 450 miles to the gallon. They are based on ton-miles. CSX averages 450 miles per gallon per ton. Semi-trucks are 134 MPG per ton. The average fully loaded train consumes 3200 gallons of diesel fuel per 500 miles or 64 gallons per mile. At 2750-3000 ton loads averages 450 MPG per ton.

Love trains
What is the fate of the logs being transported?
I am not surprised that car drivers try to beat the crossings in a risky way, because these freight trains to pass. (6 minutes in this vid) . But the obvious upside for drivers is the huge number of truck loads that would have to use the roads if it was not for these trains.
Very nice catch, thanks for sharing!
Je suis du Québec!
I have loved trains since I was 4 or 5

A very interesting video that must have been the longest train I have seen I kept thinking I would hate to be waiting to cross there. as I live in New Zealand in a small city and have a train crossing a few minutes from my home and sometimes running late for an appmt. always down goes the barrier and you think hurry up but after seeing that video I will never complain again thanks again for showing it angie K

I noticed they installed the road gates now, I was watching the 4449 video on the same crossing without the gates.. they probably had a car hit a train & the lawyers sued the railroad for not having any gates..
