This song reminds me if when I use to be broke as fuck and I got a job at a warehouse I use to walk through the snow to get to work it was like a 35 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It was snowing like crazy life just sucked And I was so depressed but this album really helped me get through it man.
***** keep at it
Time heals everything, tough times don't last bro!
***** Stay on that grind, we're all born into this world naked and we gotta trek through miles of snow sometimes to get where we want to be. Keep it up man.
Salute
***** some real shit u just spoke. It helps when u have something that makes u a bit joyful like some good music
Can't believe this track is a decade old, feels like yesterday when it came out
Ik we getting old now!
@@codywall8617 naw fam we're still here! We're getting blessed 🙌🏾
Makes me sick asf man it took me forever to understand how music can change in 10 years like this
This was a song that got me through being exposed to so much in such a small time…. Yeah 11 years ago I had moved from my house being burned Rashad was a big bandaid for me
Facts bro remember smoking to this when it came out , now we the new old school
Lost both my sisters to suicide. Just survived my own attempt last Saturday. Hope everyone can find a way out of their dark places. You aren’t alone.(Update) May/2024 Read my comment below 👇🏿
Praying you’re still around to read this two weeks later 🙏🏾
Cherish your life my brother! There is a lot ahead of you. Keep pushing! Bless up
My condolences and things will get better bro. It might not be easy but it will definitely be worth it
Remember, no one wants to die, they want to end their suffering. Your struggles are always part of your success story. Hope you’re persevering and staying strong brother. God has a plan for everyone, including you
my man YOURE THE TRUELIEST FOR NOT GIVING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This song is my therapy . Hope everyone is doing fine here
🙏🏿😢
+Cuba you good?
+Ground Zero (Hbomb619) I'm alright now. I cried last night. Can't really explain why on here. Contemplated suicide though.
Hope everybody is doing fine. Here's a bit a wisdom I earned from that dark moment. It's okay to be sad, angry, etc. no one ever taught us how to process our emotions properly. It's really healthy to live in those moments and feel that sadness and fight through it. "Suicide is a permanent consequence for a temporary solution" Bless Up and Namaste!
+Ground Zero (Hbomb619) Thank you though. Just asking me if I'm good is sometimes just enough to help somebody.
+Cuba no problem. I'm sure everyone else who is watching this video is coping with someone kind of problem. I honestly don't listen to this song just because it's good. It really helped me deal with all the struggles I've endured for the past couple years . Now I'm doing fine. I just need a better paying job so I my future wife won't have to work her 12 hour shifts anymore. But in glad you're ok now. just remember if you think people don't care, or you think your friends or family don't either, there's always going to be that one person who does. Listen to the cilvia demo from Isaiah rashad. His music is therapy. One of my other favorites is Ronnie drake .
“Daddy why you call me while you drunk? Why you never love me when I need it? I don’t wanna be like you no more.” Those lyrics always hit me

How often do you hear dudes rap about adolescent/childhood suicide attempts, depression, and coping mechanisms. This song holds so much weight for those reasons alone.
It takes you a couple times to know this isn't just a song with a dope beat.... This man is telling the truth

It’s crazy how the lyrics of this song are so deep yet the song has such a good vibe to it
For real
This song is absolutely timeless
I think its to remind us to vibe. Though we all go through shit we gotta remember we’re here for more. Easier said than done but enjoy the time we are here . Mac said “before you know me better know self, IVE BEEN IN THE SHIT SO LONG THAT IT DONT SMELL”
The vibe is perfect because its tough to talk about this. The production lightens the mood and makes it more therapeutic. Good catch.

Big ups TDE for not compromising any of their artists creativity and vision.
.vvjj
When they ain't making money off this you gonna regret you said that
Idk man, Oxy and These Days seemed to do just that, even if it was only for part of the album...
TDE needs to sign Joey Phoenix. That dude is so fuckin slept on
***** Either way it's disappointing that both projects lacked the quality both artists showed in their past releases.
Lost my lil brother last year, lost my uncle today due to covid.
I come here when I need guidance & comfort, for that I thank you isaiah rashad, this keeps me sane.

Funny how a song ignored by 99.9% of the world can be special to us. Isiaiah Rashad raps from the heart and so many of his words are the truth.
"And Mama call me, tell me coming home
And I just need some guidance in my steps
I know I'm not the only one alone
I know I'm not the only one who felt"
You're not the only one Isaiah, we bumpin with you man
this record is beautiful
This song saved my life as an adolescent.. around the age of 17-18. I’m 24 now and still listen to this song time and time again. Makes me feel like everything is the way it should be.
Isaiah Rashad is going to become the next big thing that happened to TDE,
souuuuuuuuuuuul. they all need to be the next big thing in my opinion
Walker Johnson True say, hate when people try and pick them out. They're all amazing. that's why they're in TDE and not Young Money or something.
word
It'll take time though, he isn't getting the attention he needs like how kendrick and Q is getting. But I really hope Ab-Soul gets a taste before Isaiah.
nah thats absoul , he hasnt blown up yet and IMO absoul is the topdog underdog of TDE
Isaiah's music has saved me so many times from depression, suicidal thoughts and just feeling alone with my feelings, im always glad to see the type of people in the comments also living to Isaiah, im glad im not alone and he helps everyone else too,he needs more recognition.
It’s beautiful when artists can help people get out of a hard place.

Really appreciate how real he is with his problems. Most rappers try to make it seem like everything is kosher but im sure Isaiah ain't the only one with problems. I suffer from mild depression myself. So hard for niggas to come out with mental health problems because our people tend to just tend to dismiss it as you being weird or temporarily sad. i remember throwing this on constantly while i was on my way home to my shitty ass abusive parents and throwing it back on now, makes every word ring through my bones now that i’m out of that place. it’s crazy how wild life is, just a couple years ago i was homeless and trying to juggle school and now i’ve got an apartment with someone to come home too and actually receive unconditional love. Just remember things can go good just as fast as things can go bad. i hope you all have a great day/evening whatever it may be. and THANK YOU isaiah you have truly helped me ❤️

Nobody needs to carry boulders on they shoulder alone when you got this song playing.. I remember getting evicted from my apartment in New Mexico and losing contact with my son fighting his mom and never finding a civil ground, moving to live in my car in Los Angeles, tried to make it in comedy and failed hilariously, came BACK to my home town cause my dreams ate me alive then got a desk job and have been coping for four years now just pushing to gain confidence again and get back on the stage.. thanks Zay and thank you everyone who shared their reason for loving this song. Crazy how one person can bring so many misfits together...

This song makes me feel all sorts of emotions man, just makes me want to live life to the fullest.
It just fits for our generation. I bet our elders wouldnt get it. Probably tell us we're questioning God and all that. It just makes me feel so much better hearing something so relatable
The Cilvia demo is soul-crushingly underated
Isaiah Rashad is really what got me through it. This song in particular, I was in a point of my life where I felt like nothing was going right. Failing my senior year in high-school, heavily addicted to weed, girlfriend broke up with me, just got jumped with all my shit taken, and struggling at home with only my mother sister and I. Isaiah really helped me through it and even inspired me to make music myself and it has really helped me express my emotions onto another level. Thank you Isaiah, your music has always spoke to me on another level and it always will.
Who's ever reading this I hope you guys are feeling well and doing well and being well ❤️
Likewise my brother.

I just...I can't say how much I appreciate this guy's honesty. I need to give the full album some more listens but I like his vibe and what he's doing with his music. We don't need a guy to be the hardest gangster who's drinking vodka mixed with lean, popping E with a blunt in his mouth. We just want some voices that want to be heard, just like the rest of us. The strongest connection to fans comes with relatable content.
That feeling when you can connect so much to a song
the year Isaiah Rashad is a freshman is the year real music is appreciatied
"Hanging around the playground was cool unless you have a roping around your neck"

"Hanging from the playground wasn't wrong, until you rope BEYOND your neck"**
