Nobody got shot, no female got violated or disrespected, no drugs....pure rapping about rocking the house. 🔥🔥🔥
Facts, I remember having a 14 year old girlfriend and I was 15 we both knew when this song came on you had to dance for 16 minutes.
I wish for this time ever day cmd camden ,nj
every now and then someone got the fair one, usually over a girl or steppin on my shoes could get you banged out to lol
Of course not crack didn’t touch down for two years on the west coast and almost five years on the east coast. If rap would’ve continued to be party and bullshit like this it would’ve died. It had to evolve to different, and sometimes uncomfortable, topics to survive.
Even though the rappers weren't apart of it there were definitely shootings and robberies at some of the early hip hop jams. Violence was commonplace in 1970s-80's NYC
The powerful guitar and drums and congos and what powerful female rapper great men what great group wow
Still DOPE after all these years! I still have the Album!😊❤🎉
Me too
ONE OF THE GREATEST RAP RECORDS OF ALL TIME!

OH YES!!
Rappers Delight was a bite and if you listen to it closely you can tell Caz wrote all the raps because none of the 3 rappers have a unique style of their own
@@scottcoley9302 CAZ DIDN'T WRITE THAT SONG THE VERSE BIG HANK USE WAS CAZ RYTHMS
@@jamesfrench6149 Didn't Caz give them his notebook though?

Gosh, I remember when they were on SNL back in the day. My sister and I were so excited, music that we actually listened to and seeing them on national tv. My sister sent me this just today, 4/16/21. Feel Good Friday 😊.
I'm thinking a young Eddie Murphy was the one who got them on back then...i could be wrong,though... I remember just coming on that show around that time...i was in 5th grade back then.
What year was this?
@@stanleyshack26 around 1980.
@@daxterclark5092 unfortunately it was due to Blondie... it wouldve been cool if eddie got them in somehow

When it first came out, it was played on the radio. HBI radio station. With Mr. Magic.
This is when rap music was clean
THIS ISN'T RAP THIS IS MCING BRUH THIS IS HIP HOP
You never heard X-Mas Rap by The Treacherous Three if you believe what you typed. I came out a year later and it was far from clean and it was far from the only rap like that.
