How To Save Text Animation Presets in After Effects:
1. Open AE
2. Create a new Composition
3. Add Text Layer
4. Twirl open layer
5. Click arrow next to ‘Animate’
6. Select Position
7. Locate Position under ‘Animator 1’
8. Change Y Value so text moves up and off Comp Window
9. Go to ‘Range Selector 1’
10. Move CTI to the beginning of the Timeline
11. Click the stopwatch next to ‘Offset’ at 0%
12. Move CTI forward in time
13. Change value of ‘Offset’ to 100%
14. Select ‘Animator 1’ Group
15. Go to top menu and click on ‘Animation’
16. Click on ‘Save Animation Preset’
17. Enter Name of Preset
18. Click on ‘Save’
19. Add Text Layer
20. Go to ‘Effects & Presets’ Panel (Window…Effects & Presets)
21. Go to Animation…User Presets
22. Drag Saved Preset on Text Layer
23. Tap Spacebar to Preview
