Dog did it right first time. She called tunnel from second jump and dog took line towards the tunnel.
Thank you Paula that was very informational I'm not sure that Shep is going to get off of me real soon but I can't do jumping as he's only about 5 months old and having trouble with him retrieving things right now but we're working on it his treat and prey is working really well his come and leave it is really on track I thank you for all of this information you're amazing
I’m glad his training is coming along. You can send him through the stanchions without the jump bar to train distance work.
My agility trainer told me my dog focuses to much on me , and can this be true.
My young dog, Maverick is very handler focused. That’s not typical for a Doberman but it is for herding breeds and some other breeds that were bred to work closely with people. Back chaining normally works. So does shape training. With shape training, you don’t repeat commands or lure your dog or that will become a crutch and it will be hard to extinguish. I hope my videos help.
