I've Been training for over 20yrs yet never learned or taught the weave until watching this. Using your video and method I was able to teach my 3 dogs and a class of 12 the weave in one weekend. Amazing methods. Appreciate you sharing them. Komplete K9 MD LLC

this is the best method I have ever seen! I use step in electric fence posts so they don't fall or get broken. thank you! I will let you know how it goes. My dog did not like the method of teaching speed first, then moving the poles like they traditionally teach. THANKS AGAIN! I also appreciate the words on the screen rather than voice.

Man I wish I had seen this video 10 years ago! The traditional method of teaching weaves never worked for my kids. They never got that "hop" and were always extremely slow weavers because they never hopped through the poles. I think with my new pup, I'm gunna try this method out and see how they do! Thank you for the informative video.

This is cool....gonna try this method. I like the idea of supporting the accuracy of the weave before asking the dog to speed up. Running promotes excitement in my dog and it tends to blot out thinking so it is important to teach fundamentals to her first, slowly and using high value food rewards before we try it in her performance mode.

The BEST vidéo I ever watched and appreciated. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. So well explained and your doggy is a darling. Wow great job! It's easy to stick the poles in the boggy ground as it rained so much. Must take your dog's🐾🐾 paw steps and go paw by paw. My Newfoundland is 15 months now and LOVES DOG DANCING. Weaving isn't something new to her. She already did this when she was 9 months but then the 46°C heat wave struck us and I DARED NOT SEND HER OUT FOR LONG , she could go to her pool. I must visualize your video and try the weaving exercise with my Newfie. She weaves with me. Super great video. Thanks for sharing and caring 🐕🐕🐕🐾🐾🐾

My dog is a 2 and a half and he is a Staffy X Mastiff and he can do agility but about 4 to 6 minutes in the course he gives up. He can jump about half a meter and a bit more. But he always thinks he can jump up to knee height. My backyard course is simple and for a dog his size. There is 1 small ankle high jump, 2 medium sized jumps and 1 that is a meter and a half. He can do the course just fine but still gives up.

Thanks for this, I "stumbled" onto it, I have a border collie who is really good in the field, and chasing and retrieving, but needs more to do! Of all the agility things the dog has to do, these poles seemed the oddest things to teach a dog, but your explanation made it sense and I (we) are looking forward to trying it. I have to get the spacing down for her length, I guess.
