At 36:13 Tom placed the artifact he purchased on the bottom of his deck. Artifacts are placed in the play area and trigger immediately free of charge. Once it's drawn from your hand in a later round, you must pay the cost of a tablet to use it's ability, otherwise it can only be used for travel icon in upper left corner.
Also at 39:30 Roy was correct in stating that the artifact card should have been moved to the farthest right beside the staff and then fill in the two leftmost spots with new artifact cards. The leftmost spot of the market shows an "arrow" indicating the direction the cards move. Item cards slide to the left per the "arrow" at the rightmost spot.
I just played my first game of Lost Ruins of Arnak on BGA and got the same score as Mike! 61! Game is a total blast can't wait to get my physical copy.
The Problem with these Dice Tower playthroughs is that they always play good games that look like fun and then I want to buy them. It would be helpful if they started doing playthroughs of bad games and helped save my wallet. :)... who am I kidding, I wuld prabably want the bad games, too.
They played this as part of spiel last month, so the contest is old. Game won't be released in the US until January, and preorders are sold out everywhere.
If you want a lot of player tension structured as a really tight point race, then Dune. If you want a more "point salad" euro type of a game win less player tension, then Arnak. Both are great games though.

Nevermind, Tom catches his mistake at 41:00 🤣

Insane how close their points were, didn't think that'd happen.

Great playthrough. I just bought this and the expansion so looking forward to getting it to the table.
Familiar Alchemy uses white, orange, and purple playing pieces in their game :D
Game looks good. Cant find it available to purchase anywhere....
So, is the contest not active (as stated in description)?

@@Aquadoozy Ive seen all variety of dates from November, December and now January?
@@MrMpa31 This has started showing up in my FLGS in the last week or so here in Texas, so it should be available any time now in the US.
It might not seem that way, but an experienced player will mop the floor with you in this game.
This or Dune? (And "No", there's not room for both)

@@GrandElemental Thank you! I actually bought this but haven't played yet due to Covid. I think I made the right choice based on your context. Cheers
