Unfortunately they take risks. I think a fraction in this predicament make arrangements and the irresponsible caretaker neglects; or folks cancel last minute, can't find a replacement and proceeds any way. If parents can't make proper provisions, you can't go hang out like a single person.

A Latino lady. She left the toddler in the crib. Baby girl ate her own feces. She died around day 5. That b came home, cleaned her up, and pretended as if she found her in the crib. That case has stayed with me. The mother actually met two different guys in two cities.

As I worked for CPS in the past, I know that the absent parent is usually considered first regarding placement, but unfortunately, a lot of these men DO NOT want to be the primary caretaker of their own children and won't step up...Then when they do, they'll gladly let a female relative of theirs (their mother or sister) do the heavy lifting if the child's or children's mother is unfit.
