I have a quick question, I tried collecting SSI because I had come down with fibromyalgia. I went before the judge I was asked several questions, one of which, was I depressed, I said no, at the time I didnt know that depression was a factor of fibromyalgia, afterward I began to experience several different ailments which are associated with this debilitating disease of which depression is one of them. I did not understand fully that I could obtain a lawyer to help in securing SSI. I retired at 62, and am wonduring if I can collect SSI as well SS? Just asking.
Thanks to your program i have now applied to SS for my deceased ex husband’s SS. I walked in to the SS office (Midwest Capitol city), logged in got a number, waited 30 mins or so, was told i was eligible and my appointment in two weeks via phone was set, the paperwork they need is in process. Thank you for your good work. I am passing your program on vigorously.
You just made my day!!! I thought I was totally screwed with being an at home mom for 12 year's my X earned more than 150k while we were married....thank you for the info.
For my situation, my SSI worker did everything she was supposed to do for my situation & got me what I was entitled to. I always watch your posts to educate myself a little more. You, Sir, have helped thousands! Thank You.

Thank you so much for all your work and helping people who is in need. I agree with you that law maker messed up so much and they do not want to fix it.
My husband divorced me in 2014 after 18 years of marriage, and I already filed for my own SS . We were business partners and he had our accountant not showing my work/true income in the company. So I am getting only about $700/month by now. I am 76 now and having a hard time with my finances. I know when we were divorced he was getting over $1600/mo. but I had no idea that I could have filed for his instead. Can I still do that? I feel totally ripped off!!

I agree with you I had ran into this young white girl in the mall she was bragging about her SSI check has gotten approved and it has hit her account, she was very loud and excited, I was trying to see how she could get approved at a much younger age, and it took me and several older and sick black people I know for a fact that was bed riddance and had no choice but to find work which they have no education background but had worked but the job was taking a toll on them, only making their life more difficult to deal with while trying to find some relief from their pain, but it took money to buy over the counter medication that you don't no that it will help. I was really surprised with the knowledge that you shared on the subject of SS benefits and how to claim them. There are so many ways to go about it that it can get overwhelming. My wife has been disabled for many years and during this time I have filed for different forms of social security but have been denied. The reason why they say is that my income is to high. Then I file for benefits as requested by SS office and was denied because she didn't have enough work credit points. Basically she didn't even exist and was not qualified for anything. Can you please explain to me what I can do if there is anything to get her some security with being 100 percent disabled at 63yrs and I am 69yrs and retired. Thank you for listening and hopefully you can give us some light on this matter
My SS Benefits were affected by WEP. I applied for my SS Benefits, reduced at age 62. I was told because of my state retirement benefits amount. I could not apply for spousal benefits from my ex-husband, which would have been more $$$ than mine. We were married 18 years. Now, because of the SS Fairness Act, can I apply for spousal benefits. Saw this video on 1/6/2025 after the SS Fairness Act was signed.
I am a surviving spouse. It took me 6 years to find out why I didn't collect the full amount I was entitled to. It is because as I understand it , I started collecting survivor benefits before I was 65. I was 63.5 and he was almost 67 - died 5/28 , his birthday was 7/03. No one told me about the penalty for collecting. If I had waited 18 months ( which would have been doable ) I would have been able to collect the entire amount due me as a surviving spouse. 😞
The Social Security system that I have dealt with in the last six months is the most broken company I have ever dealt with! The rudest people I have ever spoken to work for this with establishment! My last call I waited for two hours and 43 minutes! That was just yesterday! And every single person you talk to gives you a different answer and tells you the last person that you talk to was wrong. Why isn’t anything done year after year after year ?
I have been married to my husband almost 14 yrs, I’m recently 63yrs old, and have my SS early as 62. My husband is 70yrs old now, and have full SSI benefits. What benefits that can apply for under his SSI?
I'm having to get my deceased husband ss . I've worked all my life also.and his benefits was only 20 dollars more than mine .so what happens to all the money I paid in.
Hello Dr. Ed, I have a question I was married twice and both of my husband passed. I was married to one for 20 years and the other one I was married a year and three months I’m getting his benefits, but am I entitled to the other benefits from my other husband.
Hello Dr ED! I’m on SSDI and have been for 25 years. Had a bad head injury have grandma seizures, blah blah blah. The way they did my formula. I had a zero in there. It’s because I was in a coma. Social Security department did not seem to care. This has been a long time ago like I say I’m listening to you and looking into that now. I have a PhD in computer science. And two masters. And I can’t come close to figuring this out?? do I are we get a special check any month starting January February March April May whatever too much click bait for me. I just listen to you. Thank you for your constant honesty. Your drive and your belief is inspiring and unbelievable. Thank you M Wilson.
My husband was 100% disabled and did end up dying from his illness. We were married for 24 years. I get conflicting letters from several SS offices throughout the US. I get letters saying they made mistakes and change my SS, then one letter said I could only get $35 from my husband's SSI added to my SS, I am 75. And they have been making me pay back what they say is over payment. My SS is only $1061, my husband's was over twice that amount. Should I hire an attorney?
Ed. If i ONLY appy for survivor benefits on my husband's social security. But i just found out i can apply for survivor benefits on my deceased husband on my social security and my social security retirement benefits can still grow at 8% a year. Is that true? The social security office never told me this information: when i signed up for survivor benefits ONLY on my deceased husbands social security benefits. AND I think my survivor social security benefits is more than my deceased husbands social security benefits.
New to the channel. Curious to see if you answer questions when video is no longer live. I am 51 years old. I have just been approved for SSDI. I was married for over 10 years, before divorcing. My ex-husband was on SSDI while we were married and before passing away. Neither of us remarried. Can I collect my disability benefits AND his disability benefits (full or partial) as a survivor? Or can I only collect the higher of the two benefit plans as I was advised when I called SSA to get an appointment to apply? I was told my benefits are higher and I cannot get both.
Needles, AZ - as made famous by Three Dog Night: "Well, I never been to England; But I kinda like the Beatles; Well, I headed for Las Vegas ;Only made it out to Needles; Can you feel it?; Must be near it; Feels so good; Whoa, feels so good..." Love that song !
my wife currently has her own social security payment that is reduced because of her state pension. This will increase because of the fairness act. My question is: A spousal annuity that she could now get because otf the repeal would be a lot more than her own annuity. Does she have to apply for the spousal annuity or, since she has been getting benefit will she ge this automatically?
My husband passed 5 months ago. Both retired federal. Husband had many years under social security. I was denied widows social security benefits under his social security due to windfall/offset law which has now been withdraw by the social security fairness bill. Hopefully soon many of us widows and widowers will soon get what we deserve. So many people have passed on.
I was married for 23 years and pretty much supported my husband. We divorced. I did not remarry but he did. Within 2 years he died. New wife will not talk to me or my family. Wonder if I am entitled to anything. I am now 77. Not working.
As long as you were married for 10 years it does not matter you still get to draw Whether he remarries or not. That's just through some experience I went through I was hoping that he would reply to you I believe he has videos on all of that.
Ok I was married for 14 years and I gotten a divorce and I was taking care of him after it dearly so much and he was in the nation guards 3and half years and social security said I can't get it dearly so much and will be 65 years 2025 😊
This is true, I was 60 when my husband of 40 years passed. I received his SS at a very reduced rate. I waited till I was 70 like a dope, to apply my own, and that was reduced from 900. To 400. He was a 30 year postal worker civil service. I worked in the hospital an schools. So folks, lots of rules, to cut cut cut up the years we worked. Thank God he left me an annuity. That was cut too.
My friend has a son who applied for disability a year ago since filing his eyesight is so bad he can't drive. In the beginning he was told to expect a letter from Social Security in December. To make a long story short he hasn't received a letter when he called and spoke to someone at SS he was told no one was assigned to his case and he would need to start over.
I am a CSRS annuitant and don't have enough quarters to qualify for SS. My deceased/divorced wife was eligible. She passed in 2016 at the age of 69. Can I draw on her SS? I am currently 76.
My question is about survivor benefits My husband started taking SS 1995 at 62 years old only reduced for taking it at 62 years old. He died 5/23/2018 was. Will my benefit be based on what his amount would have been on 12/31/2023 taking into effect COLA's from 2018 to 2023? . I called my local office at 9:15 AM Jan 6 call was answered in 2 min and phone appointment is set for Jan 28th I told the agent that due to the bill being signed by President Biden yesterday that I now would qualify for survivor benefits and he asked what bill? I don't think he was joking.
ED, you skip over the part about if i am receiving ssdi and my spouse dies but I'm over age 59 and need to file for survivor spouse benefits. You just don't address this. Does my pia have to be less than half of her pia in order for me to apply? If my pia is more than half of the deceased spouse pia i won't be entitled to anything? A 61 year old man receives SSDI FOR 34 YEARS. HIS DECEASED spouse received RIB since her FRA and dies. Does he receive 71% - 99% of her PIA or of her most current benefit? If he chooses to apply at age 62, being disabled, when he reaches FRA at 67, can he reapply for the full 100% of the deceased's benefit or is he stuck with the reduced benefit?
Yes Sir I was told by one of the programs that I could receive SSI as well as my Spousal benefits however when I called Social Security they said that I couldn’t what is the real answer?????
My SSA is in Durango, CO. They are rude, condescending, and do not appreciate someone's queries, let alone the situation of the person. So there's that.
I am married but I have nowhere to find him. He is probably receiving his social security benefits. We were married in 2008, he was born 1954 and I know his retirement age is 66. I cannot find him and there was no divorce. CAN I FILE ANY BENEFIT(S).
I was married for 24 years my ex is remarried we are good friends but neither of us have our marriage or divorce decrees, we are both 66 will be 67 in Oct and Nov this year 2025 have not filed for SS yet! How do we get copy of divorce decree if we don’t remember the date? Married in Donaldsonville Ga and divorced in Bessemer Al! Best we can remember is the summer that our daughter graduated!
I’m new to your website and I’d like to tell you thank you for all the useful information Pls help me understand if I’m allowed to file on my ex-husband SS Benefits we were married for 25 years and I’m fully disabled I’d appreciate any guidance you can give me Thank You
I was married for 39 years when my husband of 62 years passed. I was 60 years old but was denied survivor spouse benefits. He passed in 2009 and I have never received anything at all! Have the laws changed. I was denied because of WEP. We were both teachers. I am now 76. Can I get anything?
My husband of 36 years passed away August of 2023. I called Social Security & they asked me a bunch of questions. They then told me I would only receive $1100.00 per month. I decided to visit that when I’m 67. No one can live on $1100.00 a month. His retirement at the time was $300.00. Was I told the wrong amount?
I'm turning 64 this year and have been on SSI for a long time. My ex husband's have both passed away now and I'm wondering if I qualify for their survivors benefits or not.
My adult son is receiving SSD, but his work history only pays him 482 monthly. His father is deceased and was a veteran does he qualify for any other benefits? SSI states he doesn’t meet the criteria for benefits. He resides in Alabama
If I separated after 9 years of marriage but the divorce was not final until 10 years 3 months of marriage am I entitled to his social security after he died? He died at age 79 from exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam while we were married. I remarried many years later but he passed and I am collecting his social security which is more than Husband #1. he remarried also but she passed away 2 weeks after he did.if Husband #2 social security is more than husband #1 am I entitled to anything?
I was married for 45 years .all I could get was 383.00 a month added to my social security. Should I go back to see if I can get more. He was a veteran to.
I’m 64 years old and not retired yet, my wife is 66 years old and didn’t work enough to be able to retired on her own to get any benefits. She was even denied Medicare. Do I need to retire in order for her to get any benefits or Medicare.
Do not get the private Medicare called “Advantage”. I’m praying republicans don’t force us all to get it. We’re much better off w government Medicare. Medicare Advantage is run by private corps such as United Health and is no way connected to our government Medicare health coverage. Republicans should have NEVER allowed private insurers to use "Medicare" in their name to fool people seeking lower rated health insurance & believed they were connected. They hound me w/mail. They want to push everyone into Medicare Advantage which is essentially medicare paying premiums for commercial coverage and the denials that comes with it. Medicare Advantage profit margins for the insurance companies are HUGE.
In an earlier post Dr. Ed noted that you must be drawing SS in order for her to get spousal benefits (so long as you have been married more than a year).
Spousal benefits have to have 10+ years of marriage,.Dr. Wier says it often. She may not have 35 credits, but did she ever apply for disability? Good question for the lifetime unemployed housewife? Is there a minimum benefit???
Good question for lifetime housewives? Minimum? How does SS calculate.benefits, if any? Above, 10+ years of marriage required for spousal benefits. Dr. Repeats it often. One year doesn't sound correct.
Well I knew somebody that told a friend of mine that worked for Social Security that as long as you were married 9 months with the person you're eligible for his widow's pension and I I received his widow's pension through the court I was approved they receive it and then I got my disability going now I'm on regular Social Security cuz I'm at the retirement age so I get now the retirement age benefit plus my husband's widow's pension
I filed for benefits and my 40 credits give me almost nothing but was expecting to qualify for spose benefits, my spouse receives 2400 a month but I was given a 100 monthly benefit because I have a Calstrs pension. I still can’t believe that! Amazing
You can opt out of part B. But if you are Hositalized or need surgery, Medicare A only pays 80% hospital. If you need Part B later, then you will pay a higher premium penalty.
I’ve been on disability for 10 years, married for 38 years. I developed an extremely rare form of cancer a little over 10 years ago. My husband decided to plan his life out with another woman when I died. I didn’t. I was put on a new chemo pill that saved my life. He left me for this other woman. I also work now in order to afford life. The more I work, the less disability I get. I am retiring from that job this month. I found that it is also best to collect my ex’s social security. I am struggling as to when the best time to collect social security. I am getting differing opinions on this!
My wife retired in 2008. I worked in the federal government without paying into social security. I claimed spousal benefits when I was 62 and still working. When I retired in 2018, GPO kicked in and cut my spousal benefits to zero. Do I need to apply for spousal benefits to reinstate after the elimination of GPO?
If anyone can file the SSA benefits from a divorced spouse. How about if they married 10 years and 4 times? So the SSA has to pay 4 times to all the exes? If so, no wonder our SSA is bankrupt. That is not right!
It's been 3 yrs since my husband passed away we both work. He retired at 62 but continues working because of our age gap. He worked part time until the age78. Then he had mini stroke so stop working. He died in 2021. During COVID when I file for S SS the meeting was done on line not in person. He made more than me but only collected half of his income because I was working . I don't know if that's true. If I have to depend on social security living in a senior complex . The rent is $1215 which I'm receiving over$1759 which vibhave buy food electric plus meds not covered by insurance such as A1C . Would almost cost me $600 by the time I reach to tier 3 it gets more higher. at this point if the meds doesn't work . Id rather save that money towards food. I had no idea if I can apply for widow's pension nobody tells you anything.
I'm 57 soical security office told me I couldnt draw nothing was married for over 25 yrs I don't know what's going on but they are keeping ppl from getting spouse benfits it's needs to be changed
My husband passed in 2011. He was 65. I have never applied for benefits I'm now 77. Have l waited to long to apply for a benefit? Things are getting tight with my check alone.
I have a question. I'm retired and I tried to get my ex-husband's social security after he passed away, but was told that my earnings were much more than his, so I had to choose his benefits which were lower than my monthly social security check, or keep mine. Of course, I chose mine. We were married 10 years. Can I receive monies from his social security without losing my benefits, but can add more income to my check every month?
I just want to be clear, . I was married for 20 yrs . Divorced for 10 yrs and then I did get married , . He was the main earner because he was in military and I was pregnant with 3 babies and then I was able to go to school but after five yrs to 8 yrs helped my then husband to school and then he left and no longer wanted the marriage. Why wouldn’t I be eligible for something from my ex .
My wife passed is I'm tired of them to get her benefit I am making a little bit more than I am 70 years old I made my money she do it as I'm tired of the gift and her benefits

Get a SSI LAWYER. HIS FEE WILL BE A PERCENTAGE OF THE FIRST CHECK COLLECTED.
Gov always send out nasty letters of denial when you apply. Best to hire a lawyer.
Any suggestions for a s s I lawyer
Look in yellow pages ssi lawyers advise
Go to the SS offices. Talk to them directly.

Thank you for your time, energy, and willingness to educate others. As they say, "PRICELESS!"
They need to get rid of the marriage penalty. That was back in 1972.That was 51 years ago. They need to change the policy on marriage penalty
Smiling!
Thank you, Sir.

My SSDI included a very small inclusion of my deceased, SSDI holder spouse who died 4 months before my SSDI appeals court case in Indianapolis where my husband died. I make very little, all things considered, since I fought for and finally won my 6-year-long struggle to acquire my own SSDI in 2013. Indiana is a red state. I have met very young people (way under 30) awarded SSDI for the same physical condition I worked through and had to claw my way through with medical documentation. These girls I met had/have my condition like I'm the pope! My God, I cannot stand up straight for years now and cannot walk without walker/canes! These girls could run, let alone walk and NEVER worked. It urks me that I must still try to find an at-home job if I want to be able to eat more than once every 3 days! Not hyperbole!!
So people have to be vigilant and the people around you, because I wouldn't have learned this about this young lady if I had not heard her talking to someone on the phone, expressing how excited she was I guess she gotten so excited about why come she didn't have to wait long before she received her payment, I'm sorry this hit home here I'am have to use a cane to get around, and had to wait for years before I could get help, they had called my manager and asked him questions about me, to see if I was being honest, when I applied for SSI, if the judge didn't get a good report of my record I don't think that I would have gotten approved at least not at the time I needed it I was told to quit my job because of my health, he said that I was a flight risk and could cost the company money.
I just wanted to say Thanks Dr. Ed just subscribed so not to miss your videos.
I tried to get my husbands SS when he passed, they said I can’t have it because I make more in SS then he did.

Thank you so much for all this information ❤❤🎉👏👏
You are so welcome!
Thank you very much for all of your help I am learning a lot and my memory is being refreshed on some things I had forgotten about.

My husband is on disability , I'm on Medicare we are both 65. I was told I could get part of his benefits since his amount more than mine
Are survivors entitled to the fairness act..
Thank you for sharing this important information. I am glad I found you on you tube.
What if you lived with them prior to marrying them?
Thank you for this and previous videos…it’s very valuable information!
You're very welcome!
The social security office never told me this information:
when i signed up for survivor benefits ONLY on my deceased husbands social security benefits.
AND
I think my survivor social security benefits is more than my deceased husbands social security benefits.
Thank you so much for all the information you provide 😊❤
New to the channel. Curious to see if you answer questions when video is no longer live. I am 51 years old. I have just been approved for SSDI. I was married for over 10 years, before divorcing. My ex-husband was on SSDI while we were married and before passing away. Neither of us remarried. Can I collect my disability benefits AND his disability benefits (full or partial) as a survivor? Or can I only collect the higher of the two benefit plans as I was advised when I called SSA to get an appointment to apply? I was told my benefits are higher and I cannot get both.
Not sure if he answers questions in comments. Everyday at 5:00 CST, Dr Weir does answer questions LIVE. 😊

Married filing jointly 20 years . He lives elsewhere in FL. HES 81 , I AM 74, we were married in NY BUT HAVE LIVED IN FL SINCE 2005
my wife currently has her own social security payment that is reduced because of her state pension.
As long as you were married for 10 years
it does not matter you still get to draw
Whether he remarries or not.
That's just through some experience I went through I was hoping that he would reply to you I believe he has videos on all of that.
Yes u r. U just need his social security number.
My sister got her ex husband benefits when he died. Just have to file with his social security number
@@melaniestarkey7868 But I made more money than he did so I think that disqualifies me???
Yes you can get widow benefit ....if you are American Citizens or ......!!!
Ok I was married for 14 years and I gotten a divorce and I was taking care of him after it dearly so much and he was in the nation guards 3and half years and social security said I can't get it dearly so much and will be 65 years 2025 😊
Who gets the stimulus checks
I only got the first one
This is true, I was 60 when my husband of 40 years passed. I received his SS at a very reduced rate. I waited till I was 70 like a dope, to apply my own, and that was reduced from 900. To 400.
He was a 30 year postal worker civil service. I worked in the hospital an schools. So folks, lots of rules, to cut cut cut up the years we worked.
Thank God he left me an annuity. That was cut too.
So I was court-ordered to receive it and I am receiving my widow's pension from my husband
How do we know if we’re gonna get the upgrade on the Social Security?
What if you are the spouse and you’re disabled when you apply for it?
I'm 65 my first marriage was over 10 years. Am I eligible for his benefits? I started ss at 62.
Thank you so much! I plan on claiming spousal benefits and get really confused about how it works. You answered my questions!
A 61 year old man receives SSDI
FOR 34 YEARS.
Thank you for your valuable time and info!!! It is so nice that you help us😊
Yes Sir I was told by one of the programs that I could receive SSI as well as my Spousal benefits however when I called Social Security they said that I couldn’t what is the real answer?????
If the benefit amount you're receiving now is $943.00/month or over, you wouldn't qualify for SSI. Beginning 2025, it goes to $967.00/month.
My SSA is in Durango, CO. They are rude, condescending, and do not appreciate someone's queries, let alone the situation of the person. So there's that.
Same for the folks in Albuquerque.
I am married but I have nowhere to find him. He is probably receiving his social security benefits. We were married in 2008, he was born 1954 and I know his retirement age is 66. I cannot find him and there was no divorce. CAN I FILE ANY BENEFIT(S).
SS can find him, ask them.
Thank you very much. There's so much to learn. ❤
You are so welcome!
Why not raise taxes on the ones that haven't been paying into SS like Bezos Musk etc etc ????
I was married for 24 years my ex is remarried we are good friends but neither of us have our marriage or divorce decrees, we are both 66 will be 67 in Oct and Nov this year 2025 have not filed for SS yet! How do we get copy of divorce decree if we don’t remember the date? Married in Donaldsonville Ga and divorced in Bessemer Al! Best we can remember is the summer that our daughter graduated!
Is there a life insurance we can get while on SSI a disability before the age of 65 .
I’m new to your website and I’d like to tell you thank you for all the useful information
Pls help me understand if I’m allowed to file on my ex-husband SS Benefits we were married for 25 years and I’m fully disabled I’d appreciate any guidance you can give me
Thank You
I was married for 39 years when my husband of 62 years passed. I was 60 years old but was denied survivor spouse benefits. He passed in 2009 and I have never received anything at all! Have the laws changed. I was denied because of WEP. We were both teachers. I am now 76. Can I get anything?
Does rrb qualify for the fairness ssi tax
My husband of 36 years passed away August of 2023. I called Social Security & they asked me a bunch of questions. They then told me I would only receive $1100.00 per month. I decided to visit that when I’m 67. No one can live on $1100.00 a month. His retirement at the time was $300.00. Was I told the wrong amount?
Social insecurity is so jacked up. The illegals got social security cards at the border to get medicad, snap, housing money . But we get 💩 on.
Numbers do not add up, but yes, SurvB is hardly ever luxurious.
I'm turning 64 this year and have been on SSI for a long time. My ex husband's have both passed away now and I'm wondering if I qualify for their survivors benefits or not.
If you were married 10 years or more, you are entitled.
Did you remarry before age 60? Then you can’t collect on ex.
@@jannichi6431 for divorced spouses it is 10 years. For current spouses it is one year.
Why can't I collect my disability and retirement together
I filed for benefits and my 40 credits give me almost nothing but was expecting to qualify for spose benefits, my spouse receives 2400 a month but I was given a 100 monthly benefit because I have a Calstrs pension. I still can’t believe that! Amazing
That's going to change in the next couple of months because the WEP was just repealed
I will be 64 in February and they trying to charge me 186 for Medicare do I have to pay for that I haven't worked in years
That’s for part b of Medicare. We all get it deducted from our benefit pay.
I am getting differing opinions on this!
what a disgrace & insult after they give away billions & billions of dollars
Thank you so much for all your help. I will call or email you one day when I am getting closer. Thank you so much for your service.
I'm on disability and a widow can I get his SS at 59
That’s what I was going to ask too. They keep telling me I have to be at least 62
I'm 57 soical security office told me I couldnt draw nothing was married for over 25 yrs I don't know what's going on but they are keeping ppl from getting spouse benfits it's needs to be changed
My husband died late year I only get half of his SSI we was married 43 years
What is the retirement age is now
67
You keep saying that they will cut benefits in the next 10 years of 30% but yet your saying you can collect other benefits
Correct. But if you do, those too will be cut if we don't act.
Your bad ass
Thank you for the education!!!!
My husband passed in 2011. He was 65. I have never applied for benefits I'm now 77. Have l waited to long to apply for a benefit? Things are getting tight with my check alone.
what about about getting pension that was my husband's.
Will the windfall affect me...I am getting surviving widow benefits. 80 yoa
No! You chose only one, your own, or the other, your ex's
@janetalberto9413 Well, I'll take mine over his anytime. Thank you, Janet for responding to my question.
Thanks, SSA. I will get an additional $15 a month. 😂
I had to wait 62 plus b married 10yrs he died in98 married 88. so he worked for pentagon. did he get a raise n new filings. the low end got nothing.
My wife passed is I'm tired of them to get her benefit I am making a little bit more than I am 70 years old I made my money she do it as I'm tired of the gift and her benefits
What if you're receiving survivor benefits and your spouse died prior to retirement age, how does that affect the benefits?
I am a widow ,im 64. Can i apply a widow benefit?
Were you married to your spouse for 10 years and didn't remarry before age 62? I think those are the stipulations...
