Man, the first time I saw Megiddo and it did a bazillion damage I was just like "HOLY BALLS. THIS GAME IS AWESOME."
It took you until the end of the second game to think that?
There is so much details put into these 2 games it's crazy. Too bad the third one just couldn't live up to the 2 legends before it, still a decent game though.
Really? I was considering playing it since I don't know much about it, but is it not worth my time?
Felix-The-Ghost I'd say it's worth your time. It's not as good as the previous entires, but it's still a really good game.
2 is my favorite out of all of them. I thought dark dawn was pretty good too.
I remember seeing my brother use Tisiphone's Edge and asking him how he got it, because that animation was so sick. I loved the handful of weapons that had a pseudo-summon, like Thanatos, Clotho, Lachesis, etc. Megiddo was cool, and I liked Excalibur's Legend, Masamune's dragons were neat, but having an entire character sprite intervene was badass.

easily the best game of all time for gba at the time, so much underrated played it countless hours
I realized that. About half the weapons in the two games have bonuses/side effects/slightly different animations (like Excalibur unleashing one or three swords, or Tisiphone Edge's arrows hitting different amount of times). I just wanted to give a visual basic for each weapon. Showcasing all the effects for each weapon would be very time consuming and IMO make the video very boring to watch.

Nothing beats the insane overpowering blast of the Sol Blade
Imact x3 + Issac or Felix with Sol blade + 50+ level = instant 1300 damage per turn

Excalibur actually outdamages it if you get the 3 blasts. But Sol Blade is more reliable so either Felix or Isaac should always be using it while Garet, Piers and Felix/Isaac use Excaliburs.
I'm using Excalibur for Felix and Sol Blade for Isaac , they almost have the same ATK power , however , Felix does have more ATK that Isaac , probably that's why
@@jonathanbradley4896masamune is a pretty strong 3rd or 4th strongest in the game potentiall if you get the double rising dragon.

I got three orichalcon and got three excalibur
Felix and Pieta and Isaac
But later i change Isaac to Sol blade and Garet has the excalibur
Every turn i got with Felix i always have the legend of excalibur
My fav Sword in GS 2

The Sol Blade is arguably the strongest weapon in the game since it does consistent high damage when it unleashes. However, Excalibur's triple Legend unleash surpasses Megiddo's damage, but it's based on luck.
As for Mia (and Sheba), I use Lechesis' Rule since it's the strongest staff in the game. You can try Clotho's Distaff for its healing abilities, but I don't use it since it can break. You can also try using Atropos' Rod for its instant kill move, but it's based on luck again.
A lot of these weapons that most people didn't know existed are actually obtained from monsters. I mean I got a lot of them by accident by I later found out that you have to actually do certain moves with certain characters to certain monsters in a particular order to get the weapon drop. I remember getting clotho's distaff in mercy lighthouse and the staff of anubis from the statue at that jungle place well from one of the monsters there.

To this day I feel like an excited little kid seeing titan blade.
The giant blade falling from the sky and slowly spewing fire everywhere as it falls onto the enemy.
Sol Blade is amazing but the gaia blade will always hold a dear place in my heart.

Who else loved using swift sword over the gaia blade for Issac I’m Golden Sun 1 because of its sonic smash unleash? It’s a pity that a more powerful weapon didn’t receive the same unleash.

Partially. The weapon will only look different based on what category it's under: light blades, long swords, axes, maces, and staves. Like, if you equip an axe on Garet, you will see him holding an axe. If you equip a mace, you will see him holding a mace. However, all the axes will look the same, and all the maces look the same.
Acredito que usaram tudo que o Game Bay Advance era capaz nesse jogo porque tem momentos que o jogo fica lento e só vi isso acontecendo nesses jogos do Golden Sun. Pena que a Camelot abandonou essa franquia. 😢

hmmm...i managed to dress up my first 4 chars very good....i use the old chars (isaac and the others) and i am about 86 lvl (i want to reach 100 but i am boring after all those battles) the most powerfull sword is sol blade(megido) and then is tisiphone edge(vengeance wich has 3 different kinds of succes: 2 arrows hit, 4 arrows hit, or ALL the arrows hit wich makes BIG DAMAGE) someone please tell me a good weap for Mia and where to find it cause i have a medium staff for her...

i remember it appears three times in different locations and in the final appearance it slashes at the enemy.
i thought i would be Thanato's Mace, but it wasn't.

excalibur is the best because it begns to hit 3 and swords always with over 20 luck ^^
@Anthony883 drown with enough luck(11) gives u 2 out of 5 drown kill so boost sum1 with lucky pepper

You're probably thinking of the 'Condemn' psynergy that features the same Grim Reaper animation. It appears three times and slashes the enemy on the four appearance.

I think my favorite is still excalibur mainly because I put it on piers and it almost always gets 3x hits with his luck.

For me, Sol Blade will always be the cannon sword for Felix.
For me it's canon for Isaac

Isaac I think gets the Sol Blade because how the Wise One chose him in Sol Sanctum, where as Felix is a Venus Adept who was kind of isolated, only had his own power for a long time
