My Advise for independent solo learners: 1) Buy a good dictionary, 501 Spanish Verbs, Complete Spanish Grammar, and Spanish Verb Tenses (Dorothy Richmond) 2) Start with DUOLINGO, MANGO, or BABBEL ( at least 15 minutes per day) 3) Try to read 10 pages per day from both the Grammar book by Gilda and the Verb Tenses book by Dorothy). 4) After a few months, make a native Spanish-speaking friend and join italki.
For me I had to spend alot of time simply learning the vocabulary. I never actively learned much grammar, I just had lots of conversations and listened to podcasts. And the grammar and sentence structures came very naturally - of course everyone learns differently but this worked really well for me
I think podcasts are more useful when you already got some basics down. I would rather recommend to start listening to thing that have a lot of context, it really helps understanding the language when you can see what people talk about. For example when i wanted to learn kitchen vocabulary i just watches recipe videos and cooking shows in spanish. That way you can guess very easily guess which words means what just by the visual assistance, completely without translation or boring vocabulary lists
I am using duolingo from August. I lost streaks. I don't have any other sources.. Actually I am not using any. I am so broke to use apps which pays for learning 😁once I tried to podcast and I slept. I know some Spanish beginning. I really want to learn languages.. Aaahhh I am an idiot😢😂😂
Thank uuu

How can I listen to podcasts and best improve my Spanish when I don’t understand what is being said?
