What a beautiful place Mark and a nice walk to get to it too. Unfortunately I'm a very poor swimmer and if I'm honest, lack confidence in the water. However, I have recently decided to do something about it. I have signed up to a series of lessons to hopefully improve. My wife did the same thing about three years ago and the transformation was nothing short of remarkable, so hopefully it will work. Bye for now, Chris
Yeah, Chris very beautiful - into swimming because of my leg at mo. Sorry to hear you fear the water - I'm a waterling. Hope you find another waterling to teach you - sounds like you have. All the best with that. Your wife's laid down the path. Well, all the best as always. Mark

Not hard to get to either bro-so easy. Re-the brother not sure how he passed. But they love him and this was probably a special spot just like it was for Paul. Thanks old mate. Mark
What a stunning place and sadly that pond is 100% more hygenic than any local river, rivers which i enjoyed swimming in when I was younger. Another great place for a safe localish wild swim is the disused reservoir just off Carding Mill Valley in Chruch Stretton, well worth a swim before a hike over the Long Mynd.
Alright there Paul, Yes a real gem of a pool and place. It's murky green but doesn't feel like shit. I get your concern. I know of that place Paul - perhaps the next swim. Thanks, old mate. Take care. Mark

Hi Mark. It's nice that the good memories of your brother don't fade and will always remain, and it's a nice place that brings back memories. It would be a shame if you didn't swim there. I am not sure is it a pond or small lake but refreshment is always good. Cheers. Sretana and Zac. 🤗😁👍
Hey, Sretana/Zac. Yes, I love to go back - Paul always comes through strong there. I think a small lake - it's deep enough and it sure was good. All the best both. Mark
I'd rather look at and listen to water than go into it myself, Mark, but totally respect all wild swimmers. I'll point some wild swimming friends at this one.
I respect that position too Paul. Enjoy it any which way. I think your mates will like this spot. All the best. Mark
Fantastic spot. Which came first the people or the ice cream van LOL.
It is an awesome spot Dave. Ha, very funny. Good point - not sure of the answer. A mix of both. Mark
That looks fantastic Mark, I went on my first wild swim two camps ago, it was still too cold but loved it none the less.
But that looks perfect. Looks like you had a fantastic time
All the Best Tito 👍
Hi there Tito, good to gear of your swim there bro. Yeah, always good in the water. Yes, a perfect swim and day thanks. All the best up there. Mark
Lovely, thanks for showing us this Mark, watching while editing my videos from Philippines haha :-D. Take care .
A pleasure to share my friend. Hey, all the best with the edits. Mark
Did I miss a video here . I thought it was here this morning
What are you on about? You never actually comment on my videos - it's only ever cryptic. So, what did you think about this swim and space?
@@WyeExplorer
I was sure I woke up this morning and there was a film I hadn't watched . I think when I search for your channel it presents me with a film from the past I haven't watched before , I think it's a new film ,no glasses , then if I didn't watch it I get lost 😂 .
The lake , pond looks warm , but I shudder to think of swimming in it . Though you make it look blissful .
Life enhancing for sure . . You even had your goggles . .
when I write a short comment it's usually when I don't have the glasses on .. which is more often than not . I love your films mark , your journeys back over paths with Paul.
@@WyeExplorer did you get this comment mark ?
A bit with similarity with Titley Pool :-), a bit smaller though, and I don't know if it's allowed to swim in there :-)
Yes, a bit similar although this has some great slopes to admire. All the best. Mark
Wha man - dudes, that is splendid. What a spot! I could spend a few days up there. Dip Dip Dip.
No dead sheep floating midway 😨
Hi Dave, yeah, you'd enjoy it there and around the area. It makes for a great swim what with how pleasing to the eye it is. Even better without the sheep shit. Ha ha! All the best old mate. Mark
Mark
Another gem of a spot Mark, and peaceful. I wonder whats the story of that memorial to a lost brother ,must of had fond memories of Paul, yourself. Take care bro.
Take care. Mark
Nice swim Mark. Question: How do you keep the bugs at bay?
It sure was brother. Bugs? Well, we become them. Ha ha! All the best. Mark
I can't remember that last time I have had a swim... Love dragon flies and their voracious hunger for mosquitoes 🤗
Perhaps you should get in the water Max if your doctors allow that. Re-the Dragon Flies they're a serious insect for sure. Thanks max. Take care. Mark
I took my lad's girlfriend there a month or so back - she's from Brisbane so hadn't seen it. Lovely place and great when it's quiet with no pne around. We had the place to ourselves too although there were signs of camping just in the little dip at the front edge. Many years ago my lad's used to go carp fishing there athough someone told me theyy took the fish from there and relocated them - not sure how true that was? You both had a lovely day for it.
Alright there Alan, I imagine they liked when you took them. Yeah, lovely and peaceful there. Re-the camp I've seen that - I may do one there I think. Well, I've sensed nor seen any fish in there - so yeah probably removed. It was a good old day for sure. Thanks. Mark
That water didn't look clean. Don't put your head under. The middle did look clear.
It looks a tad murky I'll give you that John. My head was under lots - no ill effects. As for the middle - deeper not sure about clearer. Many thanks old friend. Mark
What a crackin place for a swim Mark. The surroundings make it special and you couldn't leave a place like that worse than when you arrived. Thanks for sharing 🙏.
Hi there Duncan, good to hear from you. Yes, it is very special - there's no harming this place as you rightly say. The swim is always good. Many thanks, old friend. Mark
@@WyeExplorer I missed out " feeling" Mark. As in you wouldn't leave the place feeling worse than when you arrived. It goes without saying you leave no trace. After a wild swim I often feel my soul singing. All the best mate, have a good week .
