It's a really nice chassis. I was planning to go with the RC4WD Blazer hard body, but now I'm not so sure. Didn't realize that body was only 287mm wheelbase.
I honestly don't remember what I did LOL. I'll have to go back and look. I thought I did use grease, but I could be wrong. The only reason I would be able to think of is to try reducing drag. I might have gone back and greased it though. I'll open it up, as I've been meaning to do that anyway.
Thanks. After step 29 did you find that you could pull the transfer case shaft in and out by a millimeter or two? I can. Doesn't seem to have a negative effect, but doesn't seem right.
Man, that's a great looking trans! The Trail King is next on my list to get. Thanks for sharing!

It's good you make build videos That are well done and easy to follow. I'll be referencing Your Capra build quite a bit. =)
Thanks! I also appreciate you checking the videos out!
I whole heartedly agree with rc trailcats. This is a very good resource for us in the RC community. Thank you for doing this.
I just bought the SSD Trail King and want to know what motor you used?
Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport 540 16T - bit.ly/2Ryy8Ux | ebay.to/2NHNRzo . It's roughly similar to a 540 3-slot 35T motor.
That’s a lot of gears. I thought the TRX4 transmission was a lot of gears
Yeah, it was a lot!
I'm starting my SSD and was wondering why you are using antiseize on the gears and not regular grease?

@@RevolutionX thanks for your reply for the record I used grease but when I see you do something to me its not by accident.
@@danseto1745 Sometimes I just like to experiment with different techniques!
Looks like a sweet & scale transmission🙂
It definitely is a looker!
Great build videos - thanks!
Glad you like them! Thanks!

Ever thought about getting a Dewalt Gyro? I love mine.
Hmmm... I don't remember honestly. I'll have to take a look when I get the chance to break it down.
All the time! Sooner or later I'll get one!
Super
Thanks for watching!

Is that a plastic gearbox? The gearbox is very long. This looks interesting.
It sure is! It's a great scale looking gearbox!
The D Bag......HA!
