    Pop any drying out mascara into a glass of hot/warm water whilst you finish your make up and you will get many more days use out of it. Lovely and soft to use.

    The thing with Copper Peptide is that it doesn't mix or layer well with other strong actives, use it before or after the likes of LAA or acids you're basically cancelling it all out. And yes, both CAIS and CAIL NEED to be applied directly after cleansing on clean skin or else they just don't perform the same.

    Thank you Nadine - Please do the vid on eye liner for wrinkled, baggy, hooded eyes ASAP! I lament the winged liquid eye liner I used to be able to do. When I try to do eye liner it just goes all over the place and I look horrific - can't seem to recreate those lost days and makes me so sad. Would you also PRETTY PLEASE list ideas on eye liners, formulations both liquid and powder that would be suitable for sensitised eyes that can't always use the regular brands bc I get a skin irritation/eczema reaction? I can use very gentle formulations e.g. Alima Pure, Benecos, Zuzu Luxe (if I import from USA + very expensive) and Kjaer Weis eye shadows don't make my eyes react but I can't seem to use MAC etc without getting very sore eyes. I know it's a bit 'specialist' on your channel to deal with this exclusively but please would you throw in some mega gentle formulations to cater for us ladies with massively sensitive eye lids/skin as it's horrible missing out on some of the lovely looks which seem impossible to achieve as the gentler formulations only often seem to be black or maybe brown and the B. Brown Black Plum sounds fantastic! I'd be HUGELY grateful x

    I'm also using FECC from NIOD. Almost 3 weeks in and my right eyelid is lifted off my eyelashes and about the bottom third of my eyelid is visible on that side. It's adding little bit of definition to left eyelid (not much) but that eyelid is damaged as a result of spinal cord injury so didn't expect it to help that at all. I think it's brilliant stuff. I'm looking forward to wearing eyeshadow for the first time in a long number of years.

    • @littlenicky31
      @littlenicky31 4 роки тому +2

      the same... ive been using it for about 3years and if you stick with it it does lift your upper eyelids. i ran out for a while and they started resting lower again. im 45 i just wish it would help with my under eyes they are so thin and fragile

      @@littlenicky31 Oh I hear you there with the undereyes girl. I could carry a weeks shopping in my bags. And they're as black as night too which makes it worse. The caffeine has brightened it up a good bit already though. I'm starting to see a bit of improvement in the undereye area in the last few days but I'm using retinol as well (apart from FECC everything else I use is from the Ordinary except cleanser which I already had) and ha, pycnogenol is a recent addition too and there are a few more. I apply everything close to the eye (but not on lower eyelid) including retinol just under the brow. Only using skincare 4 weeks and I'm 49! Shame on me.

    FECC has lifted the overhanging sag in my eyelids so much it's more than doubled the amount of eyelid on show, I can use a shimmer eyeshadow again... I'm on my 5th bottle & will use it forever!! It's such a shame it didn't work for you :-(

    I've tried so many eye shadows to use as eyeliners and they always seem to fall down below my eyes. However, Bobbi Brown's long wear gel eyeliner applied with a smudge brush does me very well. I can smudge the edges into eyeshadow so that it doesn't look like a line (asymetrical, small, deepset eyes with crinkled 80-yr old eyelids - sounds wonderful doesn't it!!!) 😄

    I love CAIS from Niod, can’t remember why I bought it (probably watched someone’s rave review 🙈) but it miraculously cleared out my skin. I’m very sceptical about any magic skincare can do so I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I haven’t seen any other results from it though but this alone makes me want to buy it. I have my second bottle and use it whenever my skin gets clogged/i have blemishes etc. and it always works.

    Have you tried using castor oil on your hair? I started using castor oil and have noticed a HUGE difference in my hair. My scalp feels much better too, and I thought it felt fine already!
    I use a dropper and run it several times through my hair, massage into my scalp, leave it up for about an hour and then wash as normal. I found that I don't need to over wash my hair, that a little castor left in is fine. (I wash my hair at night and I suppose the left over castor oil soaks into my scalp when I sleep.) I tried leaving it in over night and didn't see a difference, so instead of having to oil proof my bed, I opt for just leaving it in for an hour or so once a week.
    Not only does my scalp feel super nice and moisturized, my hair is no longer greasy at the end of the day. I can actually go THREE days without washing it. Before my hair was so greasy at the end of one day. My hair roots also don't feel sore. I suppose my scalp was so dry that it was over producing oil and now that it's properly moisturized, it's not so oil crazy.
    Total life saver.

    • @greenknitter
      @greenknitter 4 роки тому

      I have a dry scalp and thought of applying castor oil to my scalp too (I use it on my brows and eyelashes to good effect), but thought it would be too viscous to apply. Do you mix it with anything before applying?

    • @pirhan
      @pirhan 4 роки тому

      @@greenknitter Nope! I add it straight from the dropper. I worried about the thick consistency too, but I rub it in with my finger tips. With it being thicker, I just put my hair up in a clip and do my thing for an hour or so and it stays in place and doesn't drip down.

    • @greenknitter
      @greenknitter 4 роки тому

      @@pirhan Ok thank you. I'll give it a try but I think I'll mix it with another oil anyway. I have very fine hair and I think castor oil alone may pull on my hair roots too much.

I think a dupe for the black plum is Anastasia Beverly Hills deep plum eyeshadow single www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com/eyeshadow-singles/eyeshadow-singles.html?cgid=eyes-eyeshadow no nice little case. There is another by Face Stockholm in plum, but it doesn't have that chocolatey tone. It is sort of like Chanel Purple Choc liner that has been discontinued. A South Korean brand Clematis has a black plum color that looks close. Good luck and thank you always for your energy and insight in skincare and makeup and, well, life.
