Oh thank you 😊 and #truth . I think it's important to be gentle- clients are people not objects. If I hurt them it doesn't matter how good the cut is, I've lessened their experience with me.
Awesome vid young lady. You have helped so many people. Ignor the negative comments. This world is always going to have haters and losers. Blessings to you.
How do you even use that hair cutter, I've never cut my hairline on my own and now I need to cut it but idk how to use the hair thingy (tondeuse or whatever its called)

thank you this is very helpful i am studying cosmetology and am in my first year we have not learned how to do this yet but my dad wants me to do his now this is gonna go good.

I was trying to watch a video to learn more because my husband called me in the bathroom and told me to fade his head in the back and i never once cut anybody’s hair and i didn’t want him to get mad if i asked if i can watched a video first 😂😂 i did a decent job 😜 home hairscuts from now on due to corona
Best video lol I tried to line my boyfriend before watching this video and boy oh boy the back of his head so square I was dying but ima try again in a week lol
Hey Laura. What is the brand and model of your trimmer? It looks like it cleans the hairline very well. its very close to the skin. It does not leave any small hairs. What product would you recommend me to cut my hairline as close as possible to my skin? Thanks in advance for your answer Laura.
I am wondering this same thing as well! I saw another person comment saying they have the same “shape up trimmers” but I was hoping Laura would confirm what type of trimmers they are? This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen and I loved learning the reasoning behind the techniques! Thanks so much Laura!!
Thank you for sharing this, it is a phrase that is often read below the videos of Yt. You may not have noticed it, but those who post videos of this type on Yt certainly do not do it to give you a gift, they do it for the views and possibly for the monetization of them.
Hello .. what size blade in mm would I use for my neckline .. I’m a female and the back of my hair is about the same length down to the nape as your model.. thank you
If you have a full range of blades just start with the longest one and see if you like it. My longest blade is 25mm which leaves your hair just long enough to grab still. See how that goes and then try a little shorter if it's not what you like.
I love your videos thank you! Wondering if you have any tips for me as I was doing this around my sons ear and cut his skin behind his ear on his head (not the ear) 😣 was it my angle was wrong? How do I avoid this. Thank you so much !
Thanks for taking the time to make, edit, and post this video. I appreciate it. I fucked up my hair still but your video was great. I look like a toad now that my head is completely buzzed because I kept taking off more and more but that is not on you. That is 100% me being a moron. Thanks again. Time to go eat some bugs, I guess.
Yes I do, I blowdry all my clients hair to varying degrees depending on their natural hair texture and the style they want. However, I also try to cut my clients hair so that it looks good when they do absolutely nothing to it too, which is what most do. It's a great styling tool and will step up your hair game big time once learned how to use it :)
He had a tapered hairline at the back and you squared it off... I don’t understand why you did that. That’s gonna affect his next actual haircut. Is there any reason why you couldn’t just re-taper it a bit?
I definitely could have tapered it off but we chose to square it bc I wanted to make a basic video for people who might not be experienced enough to create the taper. Just trying to keep it simple here.
It’s actually a legitimate question. That square edge is gonna take a month and a half to grow out before he can get a proper tapered cut again, which defeats the purpose of a touch up. Also some barbers will square off the back of your hair without asking, even when they can see it was previously tapered. Just sayin...
@@Normy2323 Yes, legit question that I answered. What you and the guy above perhaps are assuming though is that he doesn't want the square back, and that I gave it without asking. Tapering isn't a basic skill and I wanted to show something that someone at home could do who doesn't have previous experience. Also, it won't take any time at all to grow out. I could go ahead and taper this the next day and it'd be great.
Is it just me or this part 7:00 feals so deamn good when you receive the haircut?
Yeah it’s super nice getting the neckline cleaned up!
YES LOVE TO KNOW WHICH MAKE AND MODEL OF TRIMMER SHE IS USING NICE NEAT CLEAN LINES
This is the best easiest instruction ive ever watched i cut my own hair greetings from Macedonian in Australia
You're great at explaining the logic of the techniques to this non-stylist. Thank you!
You do a great job thoroughly explaining things, unlike other videos I’ve watched. Thanks so much.
If I go to the barber and ask for a lineup clean up I get charged like 25
mines included just go to a ghetto barber
In my country a haircut for a 14 year old like me costs 1.5$
Is it crispy tho is the question
yeah because a haircut is a haircut .
You're so cool and awesome! I love how gentle you are, most stylists are unnecessarily rough!
Oh thank you 😊 and #truth . I think it's important to be gentle- clients are people not objects. If I hurt them it doesn't matter how good the cut is, I've lessened their experience with me.
