Today It has been 16 years since my Aunt Sheila's passing. She was a great policewoman that died in the line of duty. This song is one of my favorites, and every time I hear this I think of her.

One of my favorite SP tracks. The opener for Adore that sounded completely different from their previous material. An album made when the band was at odds and falling apart at the seams, when just two years prior they were the biggest band on the planet. This album captures the band in a state of flux and the vulnerability that comes with it. An underrated album that gets shit on for a band heading into a new direction.
This was just over a week before Deftones released Around the Fur. We also got Ozzy's first Ozzfest, Dude Ranch, OK Computer, Nimrod, Portishead, new Faith No More, new Foo Fighters, as well as Cheap Trick, Days of the New, Third Eye Blind, Sevendust, and Blur's self titled. Good year for all things 90s 😌🤌

The best live version of To Sheila I've heard. The song is sparse and has to be played on acoustic in this country style live to come alive. Others versions with full electric sometimes overpowered the song.
Smashing pumpkins ... what can I say. Even though Billy Corgan looks like a young uncle fester in this video they are fucking awesome 👌

This version is better than any studio version.
He's using a Gibson Dove rather than an electric acoustic used in the recording version.
Great version of a great song. Sad to see some random doofus on drums though. Jimmy left big shoes to fill in this era.
Pretty sure that’s matt walker. He was in filter and played after Jimmy got the boot in 96. He played on very few adore tracks and was replaced by Kenny arnolf in 98 for live shows.
