Man that must have been fun! Which baits trigger more bites in your experience? I usually see guys throwing SP minnows, mickey jigs or bucktails in the surf, but im less familiar with inside the bay.

I feel like swimbaits for most action, jerkbaits for better size and kastmaster for distance. Yea on the surf I like to throw jerkbaits and metals.

Were those guys next to you catching anything? ive never fished that section of Amador. Is it easy to get to from the office?
1 guy caught 2 with a spinner. I think its a good starting point. Try there and then if they dont bite move to the next spot.

I gave the fish to my friend to cook for us. I don't really know the difference in taste but he seems to like them better than the rainbows.
