This interview was so encouraging!! I loved her heart, her tone.. you can tell her genuinely pursuit of the Word of God! I wish I could be personality mentor by her!
Wow, Josh! This was a great interview! I’d love to see the 2-hour version of her Ezekiel memorization journey. Tammy’s heart for the Lord shines through as she speaks. What a testimony for how God works in our lives through his Word! (Love you guys! You and your precious family are always in my prayers.)
Great interview! I like how Tammy reframes the question regarding favorite books to invoke more reflection. For me, Romans is my favorite for that very reason, it was so transformative, and God used it to refresh my spirit considerably. I also like how she engages in Spirit-led memorizing. That's very cool and I'm glad to hear she has benefitted from it.
Thanks for this interview! I found it interesting how Tammy incorporates Susan Heck's philosophy and Andy Davis's "kiss it goodbye" method for memorization. I'm curious, how long does Tammy wait between "kissing it goodbye" and recapturing a book? It was encouraging to hear her confidence to quote all 30 books she's memorized because she has recaptured them 5 times. Also, during the Sabbath year of rest, I assume she reviews during that year of not memorizing new content, but I didn't hear that specified. Does she review older content during that year? Again, I appreciate the time put into making this video available for our benefit.
@@BibleMemoryGoal I think, to start, it would be Evangelistic to both believer and unbeliever. "Faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ." Secondly, it would be insightful - hearing somebody who has spent a thousand hours on a text is bound to yield fruit that you probably couldn't get in a 50 minute sermon. We don't just need the Word, we need the Word delivered with intention, passion, and understanding. For instance, Ezekiel is a mystery to me. But what I could learn from hearing it by a trained meditator who has steeped themselves deep into its pages. I'd be happy to share as well.
WOW! A problem I have has just been solved; I get bored easily. Of course, change it up. Same thing, just do it in different ways. Praise God, I've been set free of boredom. Thank you for submitting to God by creating this powerful channel.
Great interview! Do you know what translation she memorizes? And yes it would be encouraging and inspirational to hear each of your guests quote a chapter of a book. They should certainly be forewarned before the interview.
30 books 📚 of scripture memorized??????? Woooooow. God bless Tammy but a full year of rest???? Woooooow she may have a good reason doing that but I wish her all the best as she begins again. Brother Josh, God bless you

My pleasure, Casey! And you’re right, I was surprised by her confidence to quote the 30 books as well. Very cool.
Can you do a new series, asking your guests (re-invited back onto the program) to recite 10 to 15 minutes of their favorite texts?
Interesting. I’m curious what your goal would be with that kind of segment?

I don't know what translation she uses, sorry!
Woooooow have good motive to memorize scripture for transformation . I like her remorse for her past and her consolation in God's word now
I agree 👍🏻
É muito forte o que Tammy disse: "Eu só quero um novo coração"!
Exactly! ❤️
