- This week we are out at South Sound Speedway out in Tenino, WA seeing what its like camping at a race track ? We picked a popular weekend to try this as they had specialty racing with semi trucks this night. Come with us as she show you are setup , some really thrilling racing which also includes getting to see the cars close out on the track. This is a must see episode full of action and racing. The camping is free out at sound sound speedway as long as you are going to the races. They provide an open field area at the corner of the parking lot , so no hookups , but for an overnight it was a good setup. Including trailers RVs, Motorhomes and also a rooftop tent.
We most certainly think it was worth it to come out and camp there , avoid the traffic and allow a safe place to crash after an evening of having fun !!!

Would you camp at a raceway ? We had such a blast getting to see that semi truck racing and what a finish . Overall a great experience!

Looks like a lot of people camp there. Definitely something different to do.
The racing was a lot of fun, and the camping worked out ok. Just a fair amount of work for an overnight.
