You could always comb your beard back over your shoulders to give an impression of speed whilst riding it. 😊 It started up surprisingly easily, and the sound and sight of you on the straight road reminded me of the film.. 'And soon the darkness'. (1970)
I love these moped movies. The engine design is so different from anything I'm used to. It's quite interesting. Plus I love your style of commentating. Thanks!
Thank you for bringing more french transportation weirdness into our lives! Just watching this over breakfast and my weekend is already awesome. 🖖❤️ 👍.
Little tip if mounting new innertubes: Inflate 'm a little, just so they're in shape. its much easier to get them in place and they'll settle easier inside of the tire + they dont tend to get stuck behind the rim and tire when popping the outer tire on. Don't trying to sound as a knowitall, just trying to pass on some knowledge and make the life of others easier. Keep up the great work!
@@SeasideGarage Thats actually an old bicycle mechanic tip! It also helps avoiding a curled tube witch can cause a puncture after airing it up. Anoter bicycle mechanic's tip: Don't use penetrant like wd40 to wipe down frames/paint or places you don't want to rust. Penetrants are usually acidic so it actually doesen't prevent rust like non acidic oils do. Keep up the interesting content :P
I love your videos.. I think if you want the channel to grow and get more views, that you should start doing more content of what you actually do to work out the things.. Like here in this video, you edit almost all the reperation-parts out of the video.. ;)
Thats one cool little moped and those white side tires fits perfectly. Where oil from that little nipple goes that you oiled? When I clean little metal tanks I put there little nuts and bolts bolts with diesel and shake it like crazy, removes loose rust quite good.
Cool moped and great video as always 😄 I really like your moped helmet; can you share what make and model it is? I currently ride around with a full face motorcycle on my old Mobylette and it’s ridiculous 😅
This is some of the most relaxing content on UA-cam thanks Seppo
Thank you!

We love your moped videos we wish you did more although we we like them all
I love making them,!
Love the white wall tyres
I actually thought this was just a fancier version of the velo solex. I did not know it was a completely different manufacturer! Very cool!
Love the moped. It's very French 😂😂😂.
I have a Norman Nippy the English equivalent. Great fun.
Who needs a Porsche when you have that? Great fun.

Flot patina på stellet efter oliebehandling 🙂👍
Ja det ser fedt ud!
That's a great looking little bike, I like it.

Good tip! I will try that next time :)

@@Haps_q Thats because I am an ex bike mechanic! ;)
"down the hill" in Denmark? I Laugh in Norwegian!
We are the only country in the world to have mountains under 150m of height! :D
Nice little project, so excited to see you get it running 😊
Schön gefederter Sattel. Ideal für Feld und Waldwege
It would be very interesting if you soak that other stuck engine in Evapo-Rust for a week, a before and after!?
It would!
2cv owner and moped autocycle collector here. Love the Vap. Wish you were my neighbour 😊
Congratulations. Another excellent video and that engine certainly does sound good.
Sacre😮
Quite a rare moped in France.
I need to get my Jawa Shopper going. It has been off the road since 1987.
Cool.
In 1960 the Velo Vap was priced at 49 guineas in the uk which was a little over £51, the Velo Solex was £41.
Ah!.... that wasn't as massive a difference as I was told... but then it's a not brainer.... in 59-61 the vap was WAY better
Brilliant- it is a racing machine- great video, thank you.
Great project. Love the sound!
Nice, maybe a 3d printed cover?
Yes, maybe there is a Vap club that does just that. In the mean time it's Lurpak to the rescue. Other brands are available!
France did seem to enjoy its' little motorised pedal bikes, that's a given... :P
Brilliant!
Some of these Velo Vap were made in my town, Hazebrouck ! Who know, maybe this one.
The local still exist but closed since a long time!
At least, the engines were made here
Awesome machine!
It would maybe be possible to 3D model and print a cover for the ignition as a temporary solution 😊
Sounds healthy 👍
Well done

Its for the brakes on the rear... dont make me explain, because I can't.. but it needs oil... :)
👍

Its an old motorsport helmet... cant remember the exact make...
But to be honest... the protection is not great...
Déjà vu!
Have to laugh at your excitement when it starts to run i do the same great looking bike.
2:30 Is that meant to have a cover over it?
15:50 You answered my question. I have an idea, is it possible to 3D print a cover in the same colour?
Where is Franch ?
Its a very small area of a country called France... I removed it now as no-one knows that area.... "Hrmph!"
