My goodness, Marina, I don't think my hips have ever felt better in my life! My hamstrings jam up on me sometimes so it can make it hard to get the hip stretches I need, but this video did the trick! You're fantastic! Thank you!
Well I knew that I am far away to achieve middle splits but doing this practice showed me that I actually wasn’t practicing properly. Never did I feel that I was working in opening my hips that way. Thanks for making this middle splits practice. I will include it in my practice and will share the results soon. Thanks again🙏🏻

It is one of my favourite practices. I love to work on the middle splits maybe also because that's where I have the most success. It's easy for me than the front splits. I have made so much progress on this skill. I feel that my hips have strengthened and now everything is easier in my everyday life, more fluid, lighter. I also notice less fatigue in the evening after a long day. Again thank you very much Marina! 😊❤️

It's never easy to hold frog pose, and this is the longest frog pose i ever hold. The wall really help for correct the legs. I think not just inner thigh but all mucles around my groin are are burning. But i love it!❤️❤️ Thanks Marinaa
My hips are very tight and it's usually very difficult and painful to stretch for middle splits but this practice was so much comfortable and nice and relaxing at the end! Its exactly what I need! Thank you Marina!
I can understand how it can feel. But I think because we did so much warm up and hip mobility movements - all the final stretching passive holds felt easier !!! It is absolutely the same way for me !!!
So this is my 3-4 th time doing this practice and today I felt so strong and think that I did it so good. My middle splits definitely are far away but in most of the deep stretches I went too deep today☺️! Thank you Marina I will keep doing this practice until I reach my middle splits🙏🏻

Marina, I'm pretty sure, that today was the first time, I was able to relax in the frog pose. 🤯 Now I get why you say that normally you would need even more warmup than we did in this practice before attempting frog pose in your practice to really go deep and relax. 🙌 The first practice in today's intermediate schedule definitely did something for me, even the warmup of this class right here felt easier than usual.

Catching up with the challenge! I often forget to include practices like this because my left inner thigh is always so tight that it hurts. I was scared to do this one. However, as I was practicing, I noticed it didn't hurt at all. My hips and thighs are feeling better than ever! I must thank you for sharing your practices with us! They are the reason of my improvement

Week 2 day 3 done. Wow wow wow, marina you exceeded my expectations with this practice. This now my new favourite hip opener. Absolute banger. Omg my hips are so happy. I have always hated frog pose but after all the exercises it was so much easier to stay in it. Thank you so much for this practice. There is always hope - believe me !!! I have been thinking for 15 years that it was not for me and I really wanted it but never did anything ! So I am sure you can do it ! Take your time though and enjoy !!
Day 10: This practice was really persistent and breathing through at times, but I succeeded. At the end even a crack in my left hip that was so good ... who needs an osteopath if you can do yoga ;-) Thanks again for a beautiful practice and also for your sweet encouraging words that allowed me to keep this up.
I know !!!! It happened to me only once or twice - the cracking in my left hip during frog pose !!! And it was the deepest relief ever !!! Then I was doing frog pose hoping for that crack ...it never came. And somehow nowadays I don not remember feeling that my body needs that cracking any longer...as if my hips are in a good sweet place right now...not sure whether it makes sense ! But well done on finishing this practice !
Today ater this i feel very sore my legs but i love this feeling, it work perfect and at the same time relax, of course my middle splits is better every time i practice this routine :)))
Hi Marina!! Can you make a sequence on King Cobra? 🤗 And I'm having a hard time in achieving a dropback. Could you drop some advices on increasing thoracic and shoulder mobility? Maybe make a sequence on this too 😆 I love yoir instruction style. ❤️❤️❤️

Full lovely stretching , some times is hard and sometime is more easy but the best is how my body respond with improve moility that i notice im enjoying it dont matter that its sore hahaha
Week 4 day 1: for me personally a very hard practice but I know I need them more than necessary ;-) I find it very difficult to release tension in the hips and in my inner thigh muscles ... it requires a lot of focus and persistence. Getting back out of the frog position after such a long time really takes a lot of effort, so I have to take it super easy. The side lunges also require a lot of practice and work, but I know that something like this takes time so I will continue to do this routine every week along with my other practices. I hope to get to a point where I can do this more smoothly without suffering so much ;-) I already feel that it works!

I can reassure you that with practice it changes but you need patience. Do not push your self too hard in the beginning, take it easier - so that you do not quit it !

the ones on the cover picture !?? They are lululemon - some of the most comfortable leggings that I have ever owned. Like soft stockings. In the video also lululemon ...but those some of the most uncomfortable lol !!!
Oh do not worry, you can repeat this practice once a week every week !!! It will only be good to your body !!! If you want to achieve middle splits this practice should be repeated often !! And do not get disheartened if it takes time - that is normal !
(Feb 24) i felt a lot of resistance in my hips today, and i guess sometimes it’s like that, but none the less am thankful that i got to practice my external rotations and internal rotations. funnily enough i tried some stretches in bed and i could reach deeper. perhaps the surface is softer? 😅
It is much easier in bed ! I used to hold frog pose in bed in the beginning because I could not stomach doing it on the floor...Splits also feel easier in bed or on the sand on the beach for example !
Need to practice more the frog pose, this time killed me :) but nothing to do better for next time to back to my daily discipline for achieve that flexibility
Hello ! You mean within the same practice ? Yes - I often do it. Front splits are rather easy for me now, so the do not require deep preparation. So I practice them before middle splits. Often as a hip mobility exercise moving from right to left front splits. If front splits are still challenging for practitioner it might be effort and time demanding to cover all splits so than they can be divided into separate days. I hope I made myself clear. But it is just my strategy. Because sometimes it is great to practice a little bit of all splits stretches - you know ?

So I may cover my front splits and then start a full practice for middle splits since this one its harder for me. Right now I'm doing a quick one with frog poses to get ready!! Just finished practicing this and boy my inner thigh hurts 😂😂😂...For some reason I got the dates of day off wrong I thought it was yesterday hence only done it now...better late than never though..Thanks again Marina for a lovely practice! I love to think there's hope for me for middle split if I keep practicing 😅😅xx
There is always hope - believe me !!! I have been thinking for 15 years that it was not for me and I really wanted it but never did anything ! So I am sure you can do it ! Take your time though and enjoy !!
Day 10: This practice was really persistent and breathing through at times, but I succeeded. At the end even a crack in my left hip that was so good ... who needs an osteopath if you can do yoga ;-) Thanks again for a beautiful practice and also for your sweet encouraging words that allowed me to keep this up.
I know !!!! It happened to me only once or twice - the cracking in my left hip during frog pose !!! And it was the deepest relief ever !!! Then I was doing frog pose hoping for that crack ...it never came. And somehow nowadays I don not remember feeling that my body needs that cracking any longer...as if my hips are in a good sweet place right now...not sure whether it makes sense ! But well done on finishing this practice !
Today ater this i feel very sore my legs but i love this feeling, it work perfect and at the same time relax, of course my middle splits is better every time i practice this routine :)))

Hi Marina!! Can you make a sequence on King Cobra? 🤗 And I'm having a hard time in achieving a dropback. Could you drop some advices on increasing thoracic and shoulder mobility? Maybe make a sequence on this too 😆

Full lovely stretching , some times is hard and sometime is more easy but the best is how my body respond with improve moility that i notice im enjoying it dont matter that its sore hahaha

Week 4 day 1: for me personally a very hard practice but I know I need them more than necessary ;-) I find it very difficult to release tension in the hips and in my inner thigh muscles ... it requires a lot of focus and persistence. Getting back out of the frog position after such a long time really takes a lot of effort, so I have to take it super easy. The side lunges also require a lot of practice and work, but I know that something like this takes time so I will continue to do this routine every week along with my other practices. I hope to get to a point where I can do this more smoothly without suffering so much ;-) I already feel that it works!

I can reassure you that with practice it changes but you need patience. Do not push your self too hard in the beginning, take it easier - so that you do not quit it !

Oh do not worry, you can repeat this practice once a week every week !!! It will only be good to your body !!! If you want to achieve middle splits this practice should be repeated often !! And do not get disheartened if it takes time - that is normal !
(Feb 24) i felt a lot of resistance in my hips today, and i guess sometimes it’s like that, but none the less am thankful that i got to practice my external rotations and internal rotations. funnily enough i tried some stretches in bed and i could reach deeper. perhaps the surface is softer? 😅
It is much easier in bed ! I used to hold frog pose in bed in the beginning because I could not stomach doing it on the floor...Splits also feel easier in bed or on the sand on the beach for example !

Hello ! You mean within the same practice ? Yes - I often do it. Front splits are rather easy for me now, so the do not require deep preparation. So I practice them before middle splits. Often as a hip mobility exercise moving from right to left front splits. If front splits are still challenging for practitioner it might be effort and time demanding to cover all splits so than they can be divided into separate days. I hope I made myself clear. But it is just my strategy. Because sometimes it is great to practice a little bit of all splits stretches - you know ?
@@MarinaAlexeeva @Marina Alexeeva I got it!!! I always confused if I was stretching too much - or too less - for my splits. Almost done with the front split, your routine helped me a lot!!! So I may cover my front splits and then start a full practice for middle splits since this one its harder for me. Right now I'm doing a quick one with frog poses to get ready!! It was lovely meeting your channel, you help me breathe and recognize my body work❤️
