In this video we travel from Queenstown New Zealand to Jindabyne, Australia for our first day back snowboarding at Perisher. It's been over a year since we've been snowboarding in Australia and I'm stoked to see the park setup in Perisher. Last year in Australia we were surprised by the terrain parks at Perisher and Thredbo and also the amount of terrain to explore. The biggest highlight that I'm looking forward to is meeting up with all the friends we made in Australia last year! - Спорт

It's extremely dangerous driving between Canberra and Jindy at night. Kangaroos often feed just off the road edges and always bounce right in front of you or into side of your car. They're are not the smartest..., like a moth to the flame. You need to wash off your speed as well as using massive driving lights to see them before they destroy your car....., or preferably don't drive at night if you don't have too. You've come right on the end of our shoulder season as August is the best month for conditions in Australia. Still a bit of snow around and we're heading back down again in a few days time. Sunny today for you guys.

Nothing wrong with staying out on those random wet days every now and then. No one else ventures out so you have the place to yourself and you get to really test the elements...and that gore Tex lol.

The cold front stopped the melt for a few days but the spring melt will re-commence Wed 18th. Enjoy the sun and snow. 👍
You boys should find a guide and get into the backcountry.
They would've been here for the cold front their flight was dated the 15th so the afternoon that this was filmed (the 16th) would've been when it turned to powder

You should really do the Australian trip in August next time. It’s the best conditions then. Also hit up Mt Hotham for the steeps and side country. The jumps and park have been amazing these last good few years.

How should I go about finding my way through the park? I’ve been there once or twice but have only used the main two lifts, not sure how to access other parts of the park
Fitness Geeks the big park at Hotham is left of Summit. Just head up then turn left off the lift and the jumps are up top with the boxes and rails down the bottom.
The small rail park is at the top of Audi Quattro lift under the balcony of Swindlers bar. That one goes into the trees and pops out at Basin train but you can hike back up if you don’t want to do a full loop through Slalom Gully down swindlers train back to Audi Quattro.

ooophh big effort going to perisher! I reckon it feels alot easier going to Sydney to Hakuba/Niseko than the 6 hour drive to Jindy/Perisher/Thredbo

Be careful driving at night. If you hit a Kangaroo it can destroy a car & hire car companies can then be a bitch to deal with.

Just a warning, it is possible for people to steal your identity with your boarding pass number and the details that you find on your boarding pass, I recommend not showing it in video. Unless it is just your name and destination printed, don't do it

Beware of Kangaroo's guys. If they're scared they wont hop away they will hop infront of your car first and try go the other direction. They are extremely stupid lol
