It’s a prerequisite for my wife in any car and a good trading point between us when choosing a new model. She gets the pano and I get the engine. Also my granddaughter loves the sky view lol.
I have one too and I love it. I had a B9 Audi S4 before this but can honestly say I have had so much more fun in this Cupra then I ever did in the S4, although the S4 was a total machine - and I've only had the Cupra for 4 months.
How is your fuel economy highway city and mixed?

@@Weakeyedominant but you will get a lot more extras against a bog standard GLC/Q5, and better performance then the standard mentioned cars. Coming from SQ5 owner. Im guessing the Seat set up is basically an SQ2 for a little less which isn't a bad thing. Well done cupra.

40 grand not bad when you think about the other options out there,probably the most reliable out of the others and cheapest to run out of the other options to,and fast to.
Audio isn't great. Too much road / wind noise in and outside the car. Good video quality just the audio needs work.

Starts from 35k which isn't too bad considering the performance. But as fun and interesting as it seems, once you add the relevant specs like you mentioned you're over 40k. Do you really want a Seat for over 40k?
It's a wonderful car, I'm a big fan, But the price let's it down unfortunately.
I think it dependes on the way you see it. Cupra is going in a separate way from Seat, remember this is not a Seat anymore, even do that was the beggining of it. Cupra is aiming for a different public with performance cars, which is correct and I believe their prices aren´t bad. Public needs to take out of their minds the "luxury" brands = higher prices. Just think about it, Chevrolet is a completely normal brand, but you can still find a Corvette 2019 over 100k, why? Because of the car, not the brand itself. I dont know, that how Im trying to think to get out of the normal box I guess hahaha. I love the Cupra Ateca and I think Im going to change my Seat Leon Cupra for it in a couple of years based on how public responds to the brand. Cheers!!
@@paradox_8044 I fully understand, but since this is all kind of new. Cupra (for now) will still be seen as Seat rather than its own thing. Corvette has decades of history, Cupra has been around for a while but not as its own sort of brand.
It's a bit like Citroens DS brand, as good looking as those cars are they're still Citroen. It will take a while to get rid of that connection. But like I said before, Cupra Ateca seems like a wonderful car. I just think once you hit that price range, you're among different class. One seat hasn't really earned being alongside.
Why not? Its very fast, looks good and there is no such car... so what would you buy? Seat = VW, Audi. Come on man there is no competition for this car...
I confess a bias in that I own one. If you look at spec and performance, you have to look at cars much more expensive. So yes, expensive for a seat but it is not competing with a regular seat but with other more premium cars and against them its good value. Depends how bothered you are with brand and the perceived economics of a given brand. For me, I compared the spec and performance and concluded that, ignoring brand, this stacks up well economically. Personally, I am delighted with the car.
@@mikemorecroft3220 Fair enough, but if I had a little over 40k I'd go for an RS3 or a Range Rover Velar (depending on whether I want performance vs size/luxury).
Like I said, Cupra Ateca is a lovely car but it's among another class at that price. And the resale value of the 2 mentioned are probably far better. But at the end of the day, if you're happy with it then that's all that really matters. Whether you drive an Ateca, Range Rover even a Nissan Micra, so long as you are happy that's the important thing.

It's obviously not a rolex, since when did rolex make anything but coin bezels for their GMT watches? So if you consider the shape of the bezel and pattern of the steel bracelet it looks more like something Omega would make, perhaps a seamaster with black dial?
