Awesome breakout flow transition out of the tapi tapi.

Indeed. It's good to break out of the drill and explore what you can do. Drills have their place (especially with beginners and those who have no martial arts background), but as you progress, you eventually have to explore and break out of the pattern.

That interested us as well, especially how he is able to find openings through the Tapi-Tapi drill. Really makes you think and react on the fly.

It was a great seminar by AMA Guro Pambuan. He and GAT Puno Baet are good friends with GM Bobby Taboada. This was at GM Taboada's Balintawak World Camp 2019 in North Carolina. GM Taboada always has guest instructors showcasing their art at this gathering. It's a great way to cross train and learn different arts.

AmaGuro definitely has a wealth of knowledge in a lot of areas. Even though he doesn't put himself out there as much, he has a lot of skill and experience.

Silat is all over South East Asia, even in southern Philippines. But this specific style is called Tulisan.
