Alec Baldwin 'Rust' trial continues

Alec Baldwin is standing trial on a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the "Rust" set in 2021. A gun he was holding fired a live round during a scene rehearsal. He has pleaded not guilty.

I'm not a fan of Alec Baldwin but I don't agree with this trial or charges. This is another prime example of a legal system that is out of control. The shooting was tragic but it was clearly an accident. The real criminal would be the person that actually put the live round in the gun and I don't think they have any idea who did it. You are going to point guns at people while filming a western on a movie set. Most actors know nothing about guns and would be under the assumption that the set safety officers wouldn't allow live ammo anywhere near a movie set.
