Love your work and what you do it for. God bless you and your family. Thank you for you hard work making your videos for us to watch! Enjoy your talk and music!
When you were finishing that vase off I thought that would have made a fantastic lamp on a turntable.. Then you displayed it using a turntable with a light outside, which proved me right. There are lamp fittings which are cool so could be used with resin so it wouldn't distort. In large rooms there are often dark corners.
Very nice work! I just found you tonight and what a good project to join in watching. Thank you for sharing your talent. Thank you for watch I do to help other people.
Very nice ! Always remember Doc, the line between insanity and genius is a very thin line. Some great people were thought to be insane by others. Safe and happy holidays to you and your loved ones. ; }
Beautifully done. Amazing craftsmanship. Love watching all your videos. Love what your backing. We out here do the same thing but in a different way to raise. Thank you for doing what you do sir. 🤠
Thank you for putting all these wonderful videos on here. I have learned a lot. I want to start doing some resin pour and turning on a laithe. But I am a complete novice. lol Also, I joined your channel as a member, I think what you are doing for OUR is incredible! And it worked, you got the word out and now I am on your side to help where I can. God Bless!!!
Your work is so beautiful and unique! And I appreciate that you have good safety equipment and practices. I don't feel like you're going to lose an eye any second. ;-)
Dan, another exquisite looking piece. The pattern does remind me of tiger stripes. Since you were going for a "marble" look, I do think that this one would have been a perfect candidate for an epoxy finish. It would place all the wood inside the epoxy to more closely resemble a marble.
The end result is actually much better that I expected. Love it - but once again resolved not to get involved with resin - to much of a mess when turning it. Kind regards.
You mentioned in your last video that you had issues with bubbles while casting. Have you tried to paint a thin coat of resin on your projects to seal them before casting them?
The system I've worked out of an hour in the vacuum chamber and curing the resin a few days in the pressure has solved the bubbles issue. Sealing these complex shaped pieces is really hard to get perfect...
Nice piece! Instead of using the plastic sheeting, I am wondering if it would work that you use the 2' X 3' pieces of cardboard that kids use for science projects. I am a tree hugger and think that it would be easier on the environment than using the plastic.
You need to put something next to your projects to show the scale of your work. Just looking at the thumbnail the piece looks like it is only a few inches big.
Sorry to bother you but can you tell me how I can find the video with your niece singing in it or a copy of it I even forgot the name I don't want to show my wife today please and thank you
Dan never ever have I seen anyone with an eye for fine detail.
You are #1.
You are the GOAT if you know what that means.
Thank you Ronnie! You are very kind.
Only one word. BEAUTIFUL
Thank you!!
Your son's feet and the broom in the background of the shot are so heartwarming ❤
These pieces where the wood floats are beautiful.

Thank you! I think the process is almost perfect now...
Your son hit the nail on the head. My favorite marbles were the Tiger Eyes. I can't tell you how stunned I am by your work and your artistry.

That looks great, I just wish you would use more color. That would have been stunning with red instead of clear.

awesome piece, one of my favorites of yours. is your favorite part the teak oil?
Yes! The moment it pops....

Unfortunately that soaks up a lot of resin.... so more waste...
@@artgivinghope That is unfortunate. Thank you for trying it though.
So, I just found you on youtube, and i've got to ask where did you find that big of a pressure pot?
Here you go: Check this out! a.co/d/3SLQVjb

What happened at 16:58? The camera can be replaced...you can't...spoken like a true photographer though.
Just bumped the tripod as i went passed... 😀
