I nearly purchased this board last week but the join concerned me in terms of it's sturdyiness. How solid does it feel when it's extended out with some weight on it? Cool video, TTK! :)

Hey buddy, board is very solid. So much so - it takes some muscle to expand it! High tolerance on the connecting pieces 🤘🤘

It can get complicated in no time. Using 18 pedals soon gets to wanting a switcher. A switcher which takes up the space of 4 or 5 pedals. If you use a power supply then more pedals are displaced. A good quality patch cable is seldom much cheaper than many full length cords. The pricey part are the jacks and labor to make a cable. This board doesn't have a bottom and unless you can tie back every cord things will hang down and get snagged. Tying down or using custom cables especially the non solder ones causes problems trouble shooting in a hurry. All 'pedals' and even pricey chords take a F. off pill when least expected. Add to that you can not keep a spare for every size. Note: non -solder cables are suicide cables. Everything you buy is made up of parts not made by the manufacturer of your pedal, or cord etc. These parts can and will fail. I have found the secret is a custom made board that uses common off the shelf easy to get cords, cables and power supplies. I use solid one piece cords where the cable and jacks are one piece. Planet Waves make the most reliable but the jack part is a bit bulky. I use a Boss switcher. Not the cheapest but are the most reliable, repairable and replaceable and found worldwide. With others one way or another you will be without it for weeks even months if it dies. I am currently building board #5 so trust me I know what doesn't work, LOL. I have filled a total graveyard of what has not.
