Last weekend, I made the trek through the bush in search of some inshore light tackle action. I have not done this for quite a while, so was not sure what to expect.
Upon finally reaching the water's edge, I was amazed at the amount of life in this small water system. As I started to fish, I quickly realised that we would be in for an action-packed morning! Almost every cast, was a fish. The fish were small, but it was still loads of fun hooking up on these acrobatic youngsters.
After catching about a dozen or so fish, I decided it was time to send up the drone. I was blown away at the natural beauty of our pristine wetlands! It felt as though I was in another country! Make sure you watch to the end to see these shots.

Just totally enjoy those drone shots they add a whole new dimension to the fishing trips. So we have to add another position to your repertoire pilot together with angler, chef and cricketer hope I didn't leave out anything. Well done.

Greetings from the Sebastian Inlet area of Florida. I've been an avid snook fisherman here for almost 20 years , and found your channel during the Covid situation. Want to educate you a bit on how to handle these fish to promote the proper and healthiest method of catch and release. Snook are suction feeders, and the tendons that connect their mouth to the jaw are delicate. Avoid holding them straight up and down by the lip, and especially holding them in a horizontal way when their full body weight is only supported by a lib grab. This manner of handling will damage and tear those tendons, making them unable to successfully feed in many cases. What happens after that is they die a slow death because their bodies cannot repair the torn tendons in their mouths to restore their full ability to suction feed. Cradle these fish in a horizontal manner using two hands to support their body weight no matter how big or small they are, especially the young fish as they continue to grow and develop. If you're going to grab them by your lip make sure you're using your other hand to support their full body weight, never by the lip or jaw only. Keep your lines tight !! M
Greetings...Thanks a lot for the info...We always practice that method for the larger fish as their body mass/weight is always more significant and the risk posed in holding them vertically is much more...Now that you mention that it can affect even the smaller fish, will try to take more care as often as possible. every video you post always improves, amazing shots and amazing action. Fish or no fish always quality content. Also be careful keeping hooks in the guides, don't want any micro chips on the inside from the hooks to be abrasive on your line. Johnny morris looking slick. Keep em coming!
Thank you very much! Your comments are very much appreciated! The one drawback of that rod is the hook keeper is in an awkward position...And well, my gear always has to go through some toughhhh conditions! Love the rod otherwise tho...johnny makes some awesome stuff!
@@KoSMTT if my rod doesn't have one I just stick a split ring through a tiny tie strap and put it on there as tight as possible. Does the job well enough.

Plenty soap and water! lol...Fresh fish does not smell too bad...so it washes off easy.
