But there's a twist! We aren't counting Mega Man!!! We also Aren't counting Robot masters so this is just for the main characters only! So I hope you enjoy :)

I mean this is also a list without Dr. Light, Roll, Beat, or Duo so while that surprised me at first it's hardly the only weird thing lol

Thanks to you I gave the game a second chance, difficulty aside, it's one of the best games there is and I'm glad I pushed through it.
Your list is missing two of the coolest characters in classic Mega Man series, Mr. X and Break Man! Seriously what happened to these guys, they were cool af but we haven't seen them in decades! I mean there are fan-theories about them being Dr. Wily and Proto Man in disguise but I'm not buying them.
I'm sure you're joking but Mr. X was Dr. Wily in disguise. He literally reveals himself in the game.

The interesting thing about Bass is that he’s not actually a villainous robot. He’s an atypical anti-hero. The reason why Bass “turned bad” in Mega Man 7 is because Mega Man was going to kill Dr. Wily. No joke, at 6:17 Mega Man was about to blow Dr. Wily’s head off. Bass strictly follows the Law of Robotics (Law #1 being don’t hurt or kill humans) to the point that he won’t even attack non-combatant robots. So Bass saving Dr. Wily was just him adhering to this.
Plus he loves his dog. That’s proof enough he’s not a bad guy. 🤣

Dr. Light is a key figure in all the games, as he is the direct counterpart to Dr. Wily when it comes to creating robots. Essentially, if Dr. Light did not exist, then there wouldn't even be Megaman to begin with, as Dr. Wily and Dr. Light had learned from one another when they built Protoman, though overlooked many aspects of his creation.
There is also a certain character that had been around since the first game too, seen at the end. While she might not have had an active "Role" in the games typically, she was an important part of the story arc that essentially helped prevent Rock (who would become Megaman) from being just a carbon copy of Protoman's origin. Even if this list is more focused on those characters who have active parts in the games, Roll should have at least been given an honorary mention, along with Dr. Light.
King at 1 is very rare (I can't call him a fraud because he did fold Protoman.) But vaild points, and he's one of the only robots to have a minor character arc (to never reappear). He has more time to shine in the comics (Or the MM8 and MM&B Manga's, where he cuts Forte's arms off).

In the cartoon, he stands in for Dr Cain for some reason in the time travel episode. I guess the animators got confused between the two Dr C's?

There are rom hacks of the first 6 Mega Man games where you play as Roll called Roll-chan World and in 3-6 she uses Tango as a partner instead of Rush.

Well, people complaining about Dr Light not being on the list have to understand that he's pretty lame, it's kinda ironic that's he's more helpful and memorable in the x series.
