I played the game after watching Joel's stream and I made a character called *THE CIRCUMSIZER* and he's 7'11 tall and he beat the shit out of a grandpa and broke his ribs.
Isn't it kind of sad that this is probably the most realistic and detailed wrestling game ever made? WWE 2K18 doesn't feature non-kayfabe interaction with other wrestlers, or your manager forcing you to change up your look and gimmick for no discernible reason.
A guy called Chris Denker is also doing a let's play series on this game's spiritual successor WR3D and he is always suprised by the amount of detailing and effort put into this game which most AAA wrestling games lack. This game is truly a work of art.

Imagine being a member of the audience who paid for and then probably drove for hours to see that match live. Also the black shirt guy was angel dust's manager.

I love how you spent 30 minute throwing together a theme song for Dr Thunder, set it up, had him go into his first match introduced by it, and he promptly ate shit and crawled on the floor in agony for a few minutes while the song hyped him up.

Low key, this game (if it were in the hands of a competent programmer) had the potential to be amazing. There's stuff in here that you can't get with the other wrestling games. You can dismember people and there are accidental fatalities.
This game is actually weirdly awesome for how clunky it is. You can dismember and even kill other wrestlers in this. Though apparently they don't actually die until the match is over and you see that they died afterwards.
Dr. Thunder VS Wayne Barrage was the best match I've ever seen. The fact that Wayne came away needing surgery just added to how much shit he got kicked out of him.
