Hello, I am not sure as I made these a ew years back, at a guess I would say 12 inches or 30 cm. You can make them any height you want by making more or less rounds
I was looking for a scarf pattern to make with a hat I made with that same yarn and could not find one I liked. This pattern goes so well and is so easy to make. Thank you!!
hi, I started making this, but I feel that my cowl got bigger after the first row of double crochet completed and it started getting all wavy.... Please help
Hello, sometimes the beginning chain is too tight and then the next row will get bigger. Try using a bigger crochet hook or looser stitches just for the first row
I am attempting this cowl and to me it seems like as I go on, the rows seems to get wider than the my starting rows. Is this common? Can you tell me what I may be doing g wrong. I have not been counting my stitches. Thanks in advance.
Phea85 that's a good question ... you may be off in your stitch count ... if you accidentally add stitches it will make your rows wider and the reverse is also true ... I learned the hard way, so now I always count my stitches as I move along the project ... hope this helps
When you finish off the round (you will slip stitch to the top of the third chain), do a chain, cut your yarn about 3 inches and then pull your hook and the yarn will pull through the chain you just made. Sew in the yarn tail thank you for watching
Both cowls are beautiful! Great project.
Thank you and thank you for watching
